No. They fell out of my pocket and got crushed as I was shutting my car door. Right now I’m using my old pair of Soundcore Liberty Air 2. Not my favorite just from ease of use POV. They work though.

In bed, I use my over-the-ear ones I got from Goodwill.

Whatever you can get your hands on. Zero point doesn’t require fancy headphones like Ultimas. If you plan on doing Ultmas…the stuff recommended in the thread is good enough.

I’ve been using Audio Technica M20x headphones. Good to see others use them too because I did wonder if they’re any good for subs. I normally only use them to practice electric guitar.

I know that noise cancellation isn’t an option for us to use but how about transparency mode? Theoretically that shouldn’t be a problem I feel, but I just want to be sure.

It works. I use transparency mode by default for both Lifechargers and masked tracks.

It was a hard rule with Ultimas (to not use noise cancellation), but I’m not so sure now that everything is in ZP format.

Noise cancellation isn’t recommended. Most of the noise cancellation features works by recording the outside sound, flipping the waveform and playing it through the earbuds, which has a “cancellation” effect on the outside noise. This can actually mess up the ultrasonic portion of an Ultima, or even a masked file. Transparency mode on the other hand, doesn’t cause this because it’s actually “letting the sound” through rather than trying to cancel it.

i wouldnt use noise cancellation also with ZP. transparency mode is ok.

I’ve been experimenting with more headsets and I think I’m going to change my official recommendation to the Nura earbuds. The AirPods Pro just aren’t as durable as I’d like.

With Ultima, you want a “flat response” set of headphones / studio monitors that won’t apply any modifications to the sound.

@SaintSovereign would know if there’re reasons not to use that feature while listening to subs, or at least I assume he’d know.
