Just experienced this with my 4 year old:
Utilize every experience, no matter how small, as a chance to connect with others on a meaningful level.
Encourage individuals to seek and embrace the thrill of exploration, finding joy and exhilaration in the unknown and the mundane.
I just showed @Trader some videos of how she was acting with me. I’ve never seen her like that before! The way she was laughing and play wrestling with me. She did something I encouraged her to do after briefly being scared.
Edit:
Guy behind me at grocery store checkout was in awe of me… staring and had that look…
My neighbour waved at me when I got home… he hasn’t done that in months…
my ex’s mom was very talkative when I saw her today
my daughter has been clinging to me ever since she got off the school bus
Edit:
When asking my teenage son to put his shoes away that he left under kitchen table, which he would normally complain about:
Me: Son, why are you grabbing your shoes like that?
Son: cuz it’s fun!
(As he proceeded to use his feet to grab them from under table…)
