So far, mainly more energy. I’m thinking that’s from Fusion Optimized. And I’ve found getting into sleep and sleep quality to be better. (Deep Sleep).
As for the actual SPS results, I have one tentative result. (I feel much more tentative about this area, because…I’m scared of being disappointed.) But the other day, I was listening to Kendrick’s new album, and as used to happen in the past, when I heard a song that felt musically beautiful and intense to me, I wanted to work-out. I did push-ups, and even though I hadn’t done any pushups in months, was able to do 43. and then in 2 more sets, I got to 100. Did the same thing the next day. Was sore the day after that, so I’ve not done any more yet. But did do pull-ups last night.
Anyway, I’m attributing that, in part, to SPS:Endocrine System. Gives me the feel of a boost in testosterone.
I’m likely overlooking some other details, but that’s some of it.
No euphoria yet.
I have had early waking times, generally. Usually around 6:15 am. But yesterday was 4:45 AM. And I had only fallen asleep about 3.5 - 4 hours earlier. Would have gotten more sleep, but I had a 9:30 AM meeting and wanted to make sure to meditate first. Never really went back to sleep. So I felt tired at times throughout the day and finally took a nap from 4:30-6 pm. Then I went out for a 6-mile walk up the hill and back. That felt pretty easy. Was on the phone.
Got less sleep again last night. But not tired today. If necessary, may nap again today.
Another Fusion Optimized/Health Codex-y kind of thing:
On Sunday, I went to a local supermarket and re-upped on a wide range of vegetables.
Yesterday, I sliced pumpkin and sauteed it. I also did this thing I’ve been wanting to do where I roast pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds) in the wok. Delicious flavor. I also sauteed two pieces of salmon. Sliced up a stalk of celery, ate it raw. Peeled half a cucumber, ate that raw. Fried green beans.
And made a smoothie with Hemp milk, banana, and about 8 or 9 different adaptogens (lion’s mane, maca, turmeric, spirulina, etc.) I had been feeling very hungry (obviously
). My relationship to vegetables is shifting these days.
Okay. That’s what’s going on right now. Seems to be a positive experience with POOLS ZP so far. But I plan to keep running it (and Drakari) for this and the next two play periods. So, I’ll be able to give longer-term reflections/status reports in June and July.
