One of my favorite songs. Get emotional every time I listen to it.
City of Angels (for which Iris was the soundtrack for) was a good movie too.
Congrats on those sweet results
Thank you good sir.
Going to get this soon!
Wondering if the Artwork is bundled with the download - just like a Record with their own unique artwork
Also, just a suggestion, since we are going towards multi-stagers that are individual titles, can it be named according to the goal / function of the stage? For example instead of “ST1” we have → “Songwriting Mastery” in the file name. I eventually rename the stages, but if it’s pre-done it would be cool to sort and find.
Ran a 45 min loop of St1 a couple days ago and a beautiful verse came to me today. Then proceeded to write the chorus which was just as great. Really excited to finish this tomorrow.
Fitting with your name
Btw Which stage is this?
Fitting indeed! And stage 1.
Those running Vibes. How’s the actual act of songwriting? Is it smoother? More intuitive? Less creative blocks?
My experience would probably be considered biased, but lyrics writing was always my biggest hangup when working on a song. I would question myself incessantly and couldn’t get anything done. On VIBES, lyrics flow almost seamlessly. It’s actually pretty shocking. I’ve also noticed an enhancement to my ability to present complex themes in a simple, but engaging manner.
The songs themselves are starting to reflect my own multi-faceted inner life more than I anticipated, to the point that I often become nervous when sending them to colleagues to hear, as they seem like I’m revealing very private parts of myself – which is directly in the script, I just didn’t expect them to be so personal.
Interestingly enough, those fears are usually quickly allayed, as most listeners assign their own meaning to the tracks that reflects their own inner landscape. The amount of positive feedback is increasing, a lot.
Within an hour of buying and listening:
7 minutes Stage 1.
7 minutes Stage 2.
1 minute Stage 4.
…And the leftovers at the bottom. Hint: it’s not for the weak.
My writing flows ever more seamlessly. It is focusing more on sound and emotion while maintaining the message I wish to convey. You know how words can sometimes have two meanings, and a one and a two and a three
Sound is now a higher priority in word choice. Previously, I would do it internally, but now I hear it out.
I am even more confident in expression, no longer concerned about vulnerability. This translates to both singing and writing, though I have yet to try out the singing part; but I can definitely envision it and already have pointers.
I’ve been listening to music in the background all this time and fully focusing on it at some points: I could fully focus on every instrument (plus the vocals) while keeping up the beat of different instruments, even that remnant sound of air at the end of the words.
You know how RoM and RoS give music that flavor you didn’t know it was missing? This one makes music into a whole new experience, something that I would call spiritual. I was fully attentive to the different manipulations of sound by the artists—their highs and lows and the waves of emotions. It reminds me of how I used to listen to music back when I was a kid. The music carries you with it, like floating on an ocean’s wave. There’s this beautiful musical awareness, like I could feel the life and death of every note if I focused on it, all while keeping up with what’s happening with the other instruments. Listening to Dark Side of the Moon was a completely new experience.
Listening to music has a whole new meaning. It feels like I’m a maestro swinging my scepter, moving with the sound. It’s like I’m tuning in with the music. Okay, I think that’s enough for now, though I could go on and on about it but you get the picture, unless you want me to write you a song about it
I know that my description of the technical elements of music in its dynamic state could elicit a “well, duh,” or a “yeah,” from experienced musicians, like it’s not a big deal, but just imagine what they could bring out with this at their level. Goodbye, metronome.
More on that—you know how you’d air guitar like you’re playing with the song, or groove to the tune with your body? There wasn’t a single sound that I hadn’t felt: every palm spanking the drum, the foot pedaling, the chords of the bass, the plucking of the strings, the wah-wah pedals. Without needing to close my eyes, my eyes would move around, vibing to the sounds, while my feet were double-pedaling.
Regarding physical changes, I realize this as I tap the bright alphabets on my screen. My upper torso, specifically the shoulder blades, was aligning properly to maintain that proper spinal erection and opening of the chest, to create space for breathing, and exposure through the pie hole tube. This part of posture reconfiguration and improvement was new to me and I never experienced it with another title to this depth, and best of all, it was automatic. It was as if I was about to bench press, but relaxed.
What I realized, with a different weight this time, is that music has always been the one constant in my life since I was a wee lil’ lass. I don’t remember a single day where I didn’t listen to music. I always felt strong about music, and despite my interest in film making, the business side and the creative side, pre and post production, the filming, the writing, the acting, even the wardrobe to some extent; I always said to myself I would employ other experts in music if I could, and I was bumping shadows with one. I wasn’t as confident or interested in it, or so I deluded myself into believing.
I always had trouble with imagining sounds in my head, as if there was a fog or lack of energy when doing it. Always a spark but never a forest fire - I has an internal block so it seems.
Never felt as strong towards music when running normal RM, or UA - even the realizations from DRG+Red+Phoenix, weren’t as strong as this one. I’m glad I tried it. Been waiting for almost a month now.
What is music, anyway, this muse?
A force so powerful, we can’t refuse.
Something you’ll use, but never abuse,
With the right rhythm, you simply can’t lose.
It’s a mystical magic, a spell to infuse,
Melodies that heal, and gently amuse.
A symphony’s whisper, or a beat that enthuse,
Music’s the language, our hearts always choose.
It’s something divine yet what is it? I know about the vibrations and the sound creations. I know about the emotions that tranquil the raging oceans. And I know that I may never know as long as I want to know for it just is.
Not bad for a half a loop while still processing (DRR+G/Alch/EoG/KB)St1.
10/10 would recommend to a friend 🥸
This is amazing. That is one of my biggest goals. Strengthen the bridge between the internal world and outer manifestation of it with the music. I don’t know how to describe it but the point between inner world and the outer manifestation of it, sometimes it’s like signal degradation. There’s distortion and noise in the form of worries, negative thoughts, expectations, etc. that breaks down the original idea. There’s still a final product, but it feels like it lost important bits of info on its path to the world.
Packet loss
Here is a quick, somewhat disjointed, early review of Stage 2. I’ve decided to use it for my speaking voice, but it really does make you siiiing.
My voice has always been a big issue for me. I mumbled a lot and singing was something to be super afraid of. I did a lot to physically improve my speaking voice, but the ability to utilize what I learned is sometimes hindered by psychological blocks. These went away super quickly with the program. While my fear of singing has become a lot lower (thanks to improved training), it was still a big deal. Now I enjoy signing and want to actually develop it. This is to me a big fucking deal, to borrow a phrase from politics. I’, also immediately motivated to work on it. Correct pitch was a big weakness for me, and I notice super quick improvement there
There is an almost immediate effect for me on my resonance and how free my voice feels. I’m also doing some somatic Feldenkrais-“lessons” for my voice, and I notice things much more clearly and am better at letting go of unnecessary tension. My vocal range improved at both ends. My typical voice is fairly deep, and I thought I was doomed to a very limited range. I can now hit reasonably high notes and am confident that I can go even higher. This comes without sacrificing the lower end of my voice, and my relaxed speaking voice is actually a bit lower. And a lot more resonant. I was also able to do some wild things like metal falsetto growling - growling from the false folds, so my vocal folds are not negatively impacted.
There is also an interesting effect on my social behavior, especially in public settings. I frequently connect with strangers in a warm “we share a secret”-kinda way. It is very relaxed, the world becomes my comfort zone.
that is a bold move….I ‘ve never been able to that….
RoM + RenMan Vibes? (Reason for this question: I’ve ran RoM for about 3 Cycles - Music, Movies and Creativity hit different and the Single Focus scripting was my favourite)
or is RoM Redundant with RenMan Vibes?
Why would it be redundant?
I’m looking at it entirely from “enjoying the music” point of view with RoM with this stack. No Spirituality.
