By that, do you mean the multistagers which already are in ZPV2 like Khan will be eventually revamped with this new method?
Iād rather see a revamp EOG with the current stages
and then a different wealth title like that.
Or even a multi-stage HOM
Yes! But I canāt run this yet
Not yet!
Maybe I was avoiding it
Iāve been listening to RM original this cycle. Almost done.
I feel like I would just want to listen to stage 1&2.
Hmm
Edit: maybe stage three would help me with drum set up and tweaking
Basic DAW skills and the such are included with Stage 1 and 2. Stage 3 is VERY technical.
@SaintSovereign what would be the minimum effective dose loop time wise for these? 3-5 minutes probably? Or are they longer scripts that require longer microloops?
Thank you very much.
Iāll try to reduce the modules to get a lean custom which is really focused on what I want to achieve. Probably Iām going to use the RM:V prototype for some time first, unfortunatelly I couldnāt fit it in my stack until now.
Regarding the new approach to multi-stage subs: itās nice that you can put in more content but as a user it is probably going to take more room in my stack. With a traditional multistage sub, it only needed one spot I had to dedicate for a longer time. Wit RM:V Iād want to use st1 and st2 at the same time and either have a custom or use two spots; Iāve still got the possibility to rotate two stages, maybe Iām trying this too (have to buy the store title though).
@SaintSovereign Itās probably included I just wanted to ask. Is there stuff in here for developing on the concept of tension and release? Like larger concepts of it that are obvious ex. chord changes, kick drum rolls, frequency changes, harmonic rhythm, etc. But also really micro tension and release in sequencing of instruments. I guess that would fall under rhythm? But itās like the push and pull of instruments more with where they are placed. Examples below
Tipper has an eb and flow to his instruments that borders on live performance with the way they play off each other. His music might not be everyoneās cup of tea but his sequencing of instruments is incredible.
More extreme end is Lorn. The bass impacts are like this very brief moment of release and the tail end saturation rides out a wave that loops you back around to the unpleasant sharp droplet sounds. End result is like a sonic landscape you get pulled into.
This stuff is largely feel by the musician. But Iāve heard tracks where this sort of āglueā is missing. And itās not really down to the technical. Itās like an innate understanding of how each instrument talks to each other in a song
I tested everything from 30s to 3-5 minutes and got good results. Iād stick around 3 minutes to start if thereās no recon.
Motivation scripting!
Sheer will alone?
Motivation scripting, and willing a result⦠what are you two up to?
One more thought about the new multi-stage subs: if Iād purchase the RM:V sub, Iād somewhat feel that I had to buy something that I wouldnāt need and want (ie stage 3 and maybe stage 4 too).
So why not offer each stage individually for purchase? Buy one, two or three stages for 34,99 USD each, if you buy all four, make it 129,99 USD.
To solve the āspot-in-my-stack-problemā: two stages of the same multi-stage sub can be purchased in a mix&match-pack for 69,99 USD. Just like a custom you put two cores (the m2-cores = mix&match-cores) into one sub, with the scripting needed to support the sub so that it works properly but without the possibility to add modules from the Q-store. I just select RM:V stage 1 and stage 2, press mix&match and Iāll get to download one sub, the āRM:V m2 stage1&2ā. I could do this with any stage combination of said sub, of course. If you could do this with the old S&S and Primal to PS, I guess this would work with this multistage subs too.
Just an idea, maybe you have already thought about that. At least for me, Iād purchase a RM:V m2 st1&2 right away, because honestly, I donāt quite know which modules to add at the moment so would rather go with just the cores but donāt want to sacrifice two spots in my stack.
Does RM: Vibes St. 4 only work for the music industry or show biz/art scene overall?
An ASBR variation would be incredibly helpful for any kind of artist, performer or entertainer. Maybe it would be an interesting option for the RM: Ultimate Artist upgrade.
Okay this is already my favorite sub Iāve EVER purchased here. I know I said earlier this week that I was waiting until Saturday to run it, but I couldnāt resist and ran a full loop of Stage 2 Tuesday because I wanted to try it for my show last night
Quick recap: Iām a karaoke DJ and the bar I play at Thursdays is mostly a college sports bar because itās right down the street from the biggest university in the state
Not only did I crush multiple songs, (Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, a duet of Aināt No Mountain High Enough with this awesome woman named Shayla, and I Want it That Way by the Backstreet Boys,) but I also got several new followers on IG that Iām betting was a presult from running stage 4 tomorrow. I also had the brilliant idea to start marketing my skills to the crowd for private parties, which is how I got the IG followers. And my new manager is wanting to work with me on building both mine and the bars social media presences. Iām so freaking excited right now!!!
@SaintSovereign @Fire you guys have honestly helped changed my life with your work. Thank you so much!

if I remember correctlyļ¼the OG Stark has scripts for power dynamic and stuffā¦.since ASBR is based on thatļ¼I will assume that ASBR has those script tooā¦nowļ¼the stage 4 of RMV is rewritten version of ASBR geared towards music industryā¦can I assume thatā¦it contains those power dynamic scripts too ļ¼@SaintSovereign
Yep.

One of my favorite songs. Get emotional every time I listen to it.
City of Angels (for which Iris was the soundtrack for) was a good movie too.
Congrats on those sweet results
