Maybe that could be related to your stuttering?
I’ve always had a feeling that stuttering is more based in emotion than physical, altho I am open to being wrong about that.

Or…challenge the shyness now, the Ascension will bloom even more because you’ve taken preemptive action. We’ve all embarrassed ourselves on the form. Hell one time Saint had to talk me off the ledge when I was running Khan.
