There’s scripting for higher order mathematics. It could possibly be a revised VDM module or just new scripting entirely.

I just spent several hours today frustrated with trying to translate coordinates within a RelativeLayout between several different coordinate systems for my widget before realising in a flash of insight that I could just get self.to_window(self.pos) and add the relative coordinates within the layout to get window coordinates. Just adding that RoM with MEv2 in my stack has been causing some very interesting scenarios when debugging code / tracking down bugs. I spent the last half hour or so admiring the symmetry between boolean, bitwise and setwise or and figuring out out how to transform one into another for simple equalities and inequalities, as well as the fact that rewriting the query in this way is more efficient anyway in that the passes over the dataset are less and less.columns need to be memory mapped at onc…

So not sure if I’d ascribe this totally to RoM or not, but its certainly coding inspiration out of left field… VAERS symptom table has 2.3 million records. A typical dataset (eg for Washington) contains several thousand records. There can be multiple VAERS ids for one report. I needed to return a list of rows from the dataset where the VAERS id was in this reasonably large array. That’s potentially 2.3e6*n/2 comparisons. I’d have to find it. I remember reading it and there were a ton of terms that I didn’t understand. I sent it to Q-Engineer and asked if he understood. He said yes, then we sat down with a number of programmers and got some ideas, lol.
