interesting thoughts and analysis

The story is pretty straight-forward.

I’m not going to write about the obvious things such as conformity vs fulfillment, having balance in your life, the education system suppressing creativity, and mundane jobs draining you of joy and passion.

I like to think outside the box, lol.

Mainly because interpretation is interesting. I also like looking for treasures and drawing connections that few people have thought of.

The first time the man hugs his kid, that moment where he looks at his hand anticipating the return of his color.

On a fundamental level, it shows how other people’s energy can have an effect on your own energy. Especially positive energy.

Here is where things start to get profound.

1 small twist in perception, creates a profound metaphor.

That twist is, what if the child actually represents the man’s Inner Child.

When the Inner Child is healthy, then you are healthy. It’s almost as if the Child represents the man’s vitality and connection to his own creativity and happiness.

One thing to consider, is that after the man leaves his job… he is gray.

This means without the child, he would be gray. He essentially needs the child to retain his color, otherwise he would be like everyone else.

This is where it gets even deeper and perhaps insane.

The last scene. The man who plays music on the violin has vanished and the child is disappointed.

The father goes in his place and pretends to play the violin. If you follow the metaphor, then the man is basically taking action to nurture his own Inner Child. When the Inner Child is elated, then the man’s color comes back.

The “man playing the violin” represents a beauty, that only the Child is open to and recognizes.

The grayed out people ignore the man and his beautiful music because they are blind to beauty. Aside from the profound metaphor, this is great storytelling on how societal pressures can lead to a loss of appreciation for the simple joys and beauty around us.

For you and me both, lol. Glad to share them with you.

This is the current blueprint that I follow for improving my life and having a sense of direction as a human. This blueprint was designed with the intention of covering main areas of life to give me perspective and clarity on how to live my life. The best version of me, is someone who attempts to excel in every main area of being human as much as he can while having fun doing it. In the most healthiest and fulfilling manner which aligns with his greatest good.

I have done research on other potential areas to add to my blueprint but I couldn’t really find any. If a lurker or someone can point out something I’m missing, I would be happy to consider. I’ve even used A.I. bots such as ChatGPT to help me either add an area or to make these areas more comprehensive.

It always tells me about philanthropy and charity type of stuff, as well as economic sustainability and activism type of stuff. I have no interest in those things (many do and I respect it), so I don’t add them to my blueprint.

Currently at 6 areas.

  1. Wealth:

Goal: Achieving a specific yearly or monthly income amount in a manner that you find personal satisfaction and fulfillment in. An amount that allows you to be financially independent, stable, debt-free and live comfortably on your own terms with time for leisure (lifestyle, pursue your hobbies, etc.) Naturally having skill development, networking and expertise in whatever your pathway is. Long-term financial planning.

  1. Health and Fitness:

Goal: Achieving optimal health (emotional, mental and physical) and physical fitness. Naturally having healthy habits, healthy eating, emotional intelligence, self-awareness and sleep. Naturally engaging in regular physical exercise and activity. Overall happiness and self-care, personal and emotional well being, balance, fulfillment, sense of purpose and meaning in life, etc.

  1. Relationships:

Goal: Cultivating and nurturing meaningful relationships. Romantic partnerships and intimacy, professional relationships, and friendships. Family dynamics and communication. Empathy, understanding and active listening, boundaries, healthy relationship patterns, positive social interactions and relationship growth.

  1. Personal Development:

Goal: Continuous learning and self-improvement in things that interest you. Time management, productivity, focus, creativity, ambition, adventure etc. Expanding your knowledge, exploring new interests, engaging with different cultures, and pursuing intellectual or cultural experiences that broaden your horizons.

  1. Spirituality:

Goal: Deepening your spiritual practice or connection. Meditation, religion, prayer, connection with nature or universe, studying sacred texts, personal meaning, etc.

  1. Recreation and Leisure:

Goal: Engaging in enjoyable activities and hobbies that interest you. Arts, creative expression, music, dance, theater, gaming, digital entertainment, outdoor activities and nature, cultural events, travel and exploration, sports, food and cooking, reading and literature, socializing or spending time with loves ones etc.

I pretty much see life as a video game and I use this blueprint as a guideline on how to play.

This video hit me in a different way. When my kids mother brought home a puppy back 15 years ago it jumped on my leg and I kicked it off saying get off me as I didn’t want a dog but actually really needed one just didn’t know it yet. Took awhile to warm up to the dog but she became my best friend for life after.

Those all sound like good goals and areas of focus and you asked for input so here’s mine. I would add in something specific in each category. Couple of examples.

For wealth I’d like $_____/month from investments. For hobbies/skills maybe you want to learn to play guitar or banjo etc.

Good point, lol.

That would for sure be the next step.

I don’t really consider it as adding something though, it’s more like expanding upon the blueprint by going into more detail.

An open-world, first person video game.

There’s a lot to do. A lot of content in this game, lol.

100 hours of gameplay?

How about decades of content.

Can’t forget NewGame+.

LOL.

1/10 spirituality:

“Hey dude. Holy shit, 4k graphics with 120 fps. It looks so realistic. Technology is so powerful!”

9/10 spirituality:

Antonyms, Synonyms, Homonyms, On God An Nems… all the same shit.

Wealth: Currently running an experimental stack for this. Seems to be working.

Health and Fitness: Kicking ass in here. Health improving every day. Working out every day. Looking kind of freakish at the moment, trying not to over do it. I might start working out less and practice yoga or something.

Relationships: Kicking ass. Honeymoon effect (is that what it’s called?) 24/7… with the most amazing and most beautiful woman in the world. :relaxed:

Family is doing incredible. I love my family.

Still have to manifest a higher quality social circle.** (bolded as note to self)

Personal Development: Time management, productivity, focus, ambition and sense of adventure are insane at the moment.

Spirituality: Have a side practice that helps me with this, that is probably the best on the planet.

Recreation and Leisure: I got A LOT going on. I’ve started playing 3 different games in my downtime which I’m aiming to master. Only allowed to play like 1 hour a day, so I don’t upset the balance of my life with addiction lol. Spending a lot of time in nature with my partner.

Traveling project which is going to be legendary, is about 25% complete. I’ve been cooking a lot of new things and trying different delicious foods. Been spending a lot of time with my partner, my family, and her family. BBQ’s, beaches, all kinds of great stuff. Haven’t gone out with the homies in a while… my hands are full. It’s weird. Tried dancing with my partner… it’s a… work in progress, lmfao.

I’m on cruise control at the moment. Bolded part I’m trying to manifest people who are adventurous like me, want to travel, play the same games as me, etc. I think it would add to the quality to share the fun with other people, lol. I’m not sure though, still figuring this part out. Not clear yet.

That’s exactly why I never tell people to practice gratitude.

It’s the most irrational and illogical thing ever.

It’s like, “mate, what the fuck is there to be grateful about? My life sucks”.

Forget about gratitude James.

Imagine your business goes bankrupt, you’re failing to pay rent and debts are piling.

“Yes, you should be grateful.”

It sounds fucking stupid, because it is.

They often try to generalize your life until the logic is valid.

“Well hey man… at least you’re still alive”.

“Well hey man… at least x”.

The good ol’ “well it could be worse”.

The concept of gratitude comes from the mainstream New Age world. The world of zero context and projection of New Age concepts with little to no understanding or consideration for a person’s beliefs or life circumstances.

My advice to you James, and anyone else who thinks their life sucks:

Run the subs, take action and get small wins. Use those wins as momentum. Let them build, create them, let them add up. Immerse yourself in them. Make an unstoppable fortress.

That’s how you shift your mindset to start attracting things.

You breed accomplishments and wins, then allow them to have babies. Next thing you know, you have an army.

Option #1: My life sucks, things are looking grim, I don’t know what to do, etc.

Option #2: I’m running really powerful subs, I’ve gotten some stuff done. Despite how my life is now, I believe that with action and consistency I can change my life.

These are both valid. They’re both true.

It’s not about optimism, pessimism, positive or negative. It’s not about ignoring the bad and lying to yourself.

It’s about choosing which filter you want to invest in, mentally and emotionally.

Which one do you want to immerse yourself in? It’s your choice. You have the choice.

Whichever one you invest into more, creates a feeling. It creates a mindset. That is what you will attract.

To see that they’re both valid, one needs to practice having a wider perspective. When things aren’t going your way and life seems tough, it’s easy to panic and the fear narrows your perspective. You suddenly lose sight of option #2.

James. You finished a twenty hour html course in two hours and got certified.

How did that make you feel?

Do you know how that made me feel? Do you know what my thoughts were when you did that?

"James has it in him to take control of his life and win."

This is what everyone in the forum thinks and feels. We’ve seen the evidence.

Cheers, lol.
