A series based on Wyndham’s book of the same name. (The earlier films based on the same material are called “Village of the Damned”.)
A portrayal of the business of Hollywood around the making of The Godfather through the point of view of the ballsy, ambitious dude who made it happen.
Some quick-witted dialogue, cut throat negotiations, deception, and the dark side of winning…it’s good entertainment (and an interesting depiction of what motivates the movie machine).
I really enjoyed this one. Had to rewind the ending to figure out what happened lol. I rarely do that with films. Loved the way it was shot too.
