Trauma Release Exercises - TRE

The exercises don’t really matter, they are just a tool to induce the tremors. Tremors is the main thing, how you induce them - doesn’t matter. The exercises are just aimed at fatiguing certain muscles which fasciliate the tremors. With time, you’ll learn to trigger the tremors even without the exercises

I’d recommend to keep doing the exercise for the first few weeks until you really know what neurogenic tremors feel like and can trigger them without exercises

That indicates a lot of trauma (both lifetime and generational) and a lot of improvements ahead of you. A healthy, trauma-free person should be able to easily do 30+ min sessions, with minimal tremors. Don’t force the session time though, your tolerance will increase naturally

Over time, you will find your energy levels massively higher, mood better and stable, and you will release trauma, instead of just learning to live with it

There is a ton of benefits to this practice, naming them all would take a while lol. I believe traumas can stop us for progressing in almost all areas of life

Thanks, man. I think I’ve never felt that good in my body like I do this morning.

When I woke up to go to the toilet last night, I felt tingling from my hands to shoulders (I still do a bit), at my belly (the most-actuallly it felt more like releaing here), and a tiny bit in my right hemisphere.

I was born a left-hander but then forced to use my right hand. My handwriting is terrible, and I’m not too dexterous.

I’m planning on using boading balls to improve that.

@Fractal_Explorer Does TRE work for you, mate?

I never experienced it under a trained professional so I don’t have a good idea if TRE works or not. But doing it on my own it wasn’t something that I felt helped me.

It’s so easy to overdo it. Yesterday, I did it again instead of taking a day off as recommended, and now I’m experiencing symptoms similar to recon, like a slight headache and being slightly irritable.

Don’t get me wrong—the level of ease and strength I feel in my body is still great. It’s just that you need to give your system enough time to integrate the changes, just like with subs.

Yep, if I overdo it, I have insane anxiety, apathy and exhaustion. It can produce real recon too where you actually have some issues brought up to your conscious mind

With time, your tolerance will increase, just like with subs. But, before it happens, it actually might decrease too. So yeah, listen to your body, take rest days as needed. Treat it like subs lol

Yes, I’m noticing ‘ugly’ feelings and thoughts surfacing. It may be because my body is so relaxed and I feel so strong in it. I believe that the energy that once went into the trauma is now being channeled into these feelings and thoughts.

I feel that could be the case if I weren’t running Earth and listening to Focus 10 Tape #2. I’ve just bought 3 kg of walnuts to support my nervous system’s regeneration.

It’s just bizarre how little information there is about TRE, and how some sources try to discredit it. There are lots of assumptions used to do that, like here:

The tremors induced by the exercises are simply a natural response to muscle fatigue; they are an annoying side effect of strenuous exercise and they have no documented benefits

That’s an obvious fallacy to me, since the tremors in my body start within three seconds of doing a wall sit, and then build quickly when I do the main exercise. Moreover, they spread throughout my whole body, even to muscles that weren’t exercised at all.

My results have been great—I feel utterly calm, with no somatic reactivity. I’m grounded and non-attached. I don’t need external documentation to prove that, because this is my lived experience thanks to TRE.

It’s a pity they try to discredit it.

My TRE session was really intense this evening.

10-15 minutes of pretty violent tremors. The tremors moved from my legs to my belly, then to my whole thorax and head, back to my groins and then my legs and then back again towards my head and back and forth. Lots of sweat as you can see.

The whole-body feeling right now is priceless, however.

I’ve had similar responses from TRE. Also, I’ve gotten some kind of pseudo-sickness from it a few times. Like, I’d feel sick, have high temperature, but it would last a day max. I’m usually sick for at least 3-4 days

I’ve read somewhere that TRE can release histamines too. A lot of people noticed that their food allergies disappear with time. Many people report better breathing. It’s a shame there’s not much info on what is going on biologically.

Well, my metabolism is way faster, I generate lots of energy and I eat like a horse. However, I’m running Earth as well.


It looks like my system is learning how to induce this “bodily response” at will. Interesting.

This evening, the tremors changed into micro-vibrations, tension shifts, and a warmth spreading through my legs. It’s hard to explain, but they’re nothing like the violent tremors I had at the beginning.

Any comment, mate?

Tremors change in frequency, strength, placement, etc. over time, and it will happen multiple times, and it’s normal.

I heard the theory that smaller tremors are dealing with deeper layers of trauma but I’m not sure how true that is

And the warmth is probably some energy movements, not sure. Overall, if you are feeling good, there’s nothing to worry about

Damn I heard about this years ago but forgot all about it.

I’m definitely going to give this a try. From what I understand, the exact method of triggering the tremors isn’t as important as simply allowing them to happen once they’re activated, right? I’ve noticed there are courses, teachers, and certified practitioners available, but I’ve also seen a lot of people just start with a YouTube video. I think I’ll begin with the one Sub Zero shared.

I’ve been noticing the same pattern when making progress in TRE. Perhaps TRE is a good preparatory practice for other energy practices.

Ive been doing a bit of TRE lately, the tremors have been trigger mostly on my legs, specially the left one. It feels both tension and pleasure while it shakes, like the tension disolving being replaced by the pleasurable warmness of fresh blood pumping into the muscles.

In this returning to practicing TRE Ive noticed that the tremors are present in the major muscles of my legs. In the past most of the tremors where located in the major joints (SI and Hips), which seems to be indicative of progress in releasing chronic tension. Also an indication that Osteopathy is working great.

Today I had a lot of tremors in my jaw and now it feels really loose and relaxed.
