The nature of growth within our psychosomatic system

This.

Until the release of Earth, GLM, and WANTED, it seemed there was a preference for addressing, through ZP, a one-directional system (“mental strucutres”), if we use @Fractal_Explorer’s terminology. Now, however, the aforementioned programs appear to have unified the ZP approach to address the bidirectional system we are — our psychosomatic system (therefore, addressing “somatic structures” as well).

I only pointed out that focusing on pendulation would be even more beneficial to the approach that seems to have been taken in ZP development toward ZPU. Pendulation (contraction before expansion) seems to be embedded in the growth we experience on ZP. Addressing the somatic side effects of pendulation has already proven really effective, as I mentioned in the first post.

I believe the shift from reconciliation toward pendulation is the way to go.

I’m not sure that’s what free will scripting is about, I didn’t think about it this way at least.

I think in the case we’re talking about our free will is the choice to listen to the sub or not, and receive suggestions that bypasses our conscious choices but doesn’t enforce them

Everyone’s different. I’m not saying that approach can’t work, but I think a certain type of person or individual responds better than others.

Hypothetically if someone has a complex internal world, effectively different fragments of self, then free will scripting could apply because even though that internal world is you, those existing in it can respond in a fully autonomous way where they essentially appear to be a different person due to differing views and perspectives.

So I’m not saying that was the original intention of the free will scripting, I couldn’t possibly know what saint and fire put in there. But from my experience the conscious is just the first line of defense. Bypassing that is not a guarantee that it will be assimilated into my system. The neutrality of zp is what I think makes that easier, the script is presented as ideas to be acted up on not a coercion or force.

Saint elaborated more here

I would say that in my experience the lines can blur a lot and at times there is no clear distinction between conscious and subconscious, yet they do very much act in different ways. Maybe they communicate back and forth so fast and in an instant. That’s why I like the approach of considering everything vs a solely bottom up or top down method.

It could be that it’s already the case to some extent and why we’re seeing these results, the inclusion of new relaxation scripting that acts as the expansion phase while the contraction is the reaction/resistance of challenging new concepts.

How do you think ‘pendulation’ type scripting would look like in broad terms?

It would be incredibly enlightening to read the scripts after having so much experience with these subs. I think it would be breakthrough inducing and would help bridge subconscious and conscious in a whole new way.

If you released the somatic trauma response caused by being traumatized by your father, there would still be the matter of forgiveness, which is mental and emotional. Trauma is a complex beast — tackling it from the somatic side alone is not enough to resolve it entirely.

In my case, it was about realizing that there was nothing to forgive, because he was who he was — a traumatized person who never resolved his own pain. What truly mattered was understanding that the issue wasn’t about forgiving him but about forgiving myself for being helpless when I was traumatized. I came to see that my weakness was only illusory, since a child can’t stand up to a fully grown man. The very fact that I survived attests to my inner resilience.

Now I’m really close to getting rid of that somatic trauma response and healing my nervous system.

I agree with @Fractal_Explorer regarding trauma healing.

However, in this thread I’m focused on shifting from reconciliation to pendulation in how ZP tech is delivered, and not so much on resolving trauma — even though this is where I see massive improvement in the latest tech.

Precisely.

Perhaps not by reading the scripting (for obvious reasons), but by reading — or, even better, watching — a story where the hero embodies the scripting 100%. Stories have a powerful impact on us and can help us transcend our daily lives, guiding us toward our ideals — even if only in our imagination.

It would need to address the most typical side effects of contraction (which is very similar to recon but for many it also involves negative somatic reactions) that is one of the two phases of pendulation. I listed those side effects here. Moreover, it should foster the qualities of expansion that I listed here.

However, thanks to Earth — and to some extent GLM as well

Apart from that, there’s the “aha moment” when we realize we’ve entered contraction and can will ourselves out of it to move into expansion, acting upon the insights revealed during the contraction episode — a feature introduced in the first version of the anti-recon tech. That was a masterful stroke.

However, I would foster “intelligent contraction,” (something like intelligent fear) and the boldness to act upon it, which I believe would not only support expansion (aka growth) but also greatly reduce the frequency of contraction. This would foster what helps us transform the most: taking action outside of our comfort zone.

Intelligent contraction is the ability to recognize and use contraction as a constructive guide rather than being controlled by it. It’s not about eliminating contraction, but harnessing it wisely to inform your decisions and growth. It is present in the anti-recon tech to some extent, but many people still fail to acknowledge those “aha moments,” gain valuable insights, and act upon them — and this is the forge of real growth.

Key aspects:

  1. Awareness – You notice contraction as it arises instead of suppressing or denying it.
  2. Analysis – You understand the source of the contraction and distinguish between real danger and imagined or habitual fear.
  3. Action-Oriented – Instead of freezing, avoiding, or reacting impulsively, you let the insights you gained from applying intelligent contraction guide careful, informed action.
  4. Growth Catalyst – The “negative” energy generated due to contraction, and now consciously conversed from driving contraction into driving expansion (into “positive” energy) thanks to being intelligent (it’s intelligent contraction after all), pushes you out of your comfort zone safely, supporting personal transformation and expansion.
