SubClub tech versions

Some users are mixing different SubClub tech like earlier Qv2 and ZP, even Ulitimas.

From what I understand the guidance is best not to mix. Exceptions exist for users who are aware of their limits and how they respond to each and process the subs.

Is there a list of what SubClub tech is compatible and can be used together without a clash?

And are the ZP versions interchangeable?

For instance, is it ok to listen to a sub in ZPv1 and another in ZPv2 in succession.

Or even the same Sub twice in a row, one in ZPv1 and other in ZPv2?

It’s recommended to stick to the latest tech.

Anything else is off the guidelines and can be considered as individual experimentation.

In the beginning of ZP it was okay to listen to ZP titles together with QV2 or Ultima.
The motto was “QV2 aint broken”.

Today it would be experimentation. And ZPv2 wasn’t available at that point in history.

I thought I had read somewhere that ZPv2 was backwards compatible with ZP.

Did Saint or Fire give an instruction not to use those together?

Is there a post about that somewhere on the forum?

That’s for starters. There’s more.

Eppur si muove

Thanks. Had to look that one up. That is a great quote. (Added to the lexicon.)

Anything can work of course. And experimenters will run experiments.

But if we’re discussing recommended best practices, then they are what they are.

True dat. But actually the OP’s question was about:

To which I would say: there are recommendations, but these are not dogmas. Every scientist of the self and subconscious is free to experiment and see what works for best, as long as they take responsibility for their own actions.

Actually I realized in a way this says exactly the same as what I was saying. Remember at the end of that movie they crossed the streams to defeat Vigo?

Seriously the discussion between them here reminds me a lot of discussions here on this forum! lol

There’s absolutely no reason to still run ZPv1 or earlier. ZPv2 is not only far superior in terms of results, but also much less recon due to the removal of the primer.

Official guidelines:

" If you have TWO titles in your stack, 1 ZP / 1 Qv2, do the following:

  • Day 1: 1-2 loops of ZP title.
  • Day 2: Rest
  • Day 3: 1 loop of Qv2
  • Day 4: Rest
  • Day 5: 1-2 loops of ZP title
  • Day 6: Rest
  • Day 7: 1 loop of Qv2
  • Day 8: Rest"

Then if you could run Qv2 with ZP

And now ZPv2 is just ZP without the primer

Why could you not run ZP2 with Qv2?

If in the past you could run the same ZP title 2 times?

Why you can’t run them 2 times now (ZPv2) if they just have no primer?

I’d love to hear a more detailed explanation of why the low rep counts with ZPv2 and the warnings against mixing, since the recommendations and my experience don’t match up.

Plus I will often use the Qv2 because of the hour long format. I like the harder more rain-like sound a lot better than the 15 minute trickling water and sometimes having something on in the background which has more of that hard noise feel that is in line with goals is just really nice. I find it harder to meditate to ZP, but Qv2/Ultima, a lot easier.

Yes, i want the same

And specially the official explanation

i hope the masterclass will cover it

So were not meant to stack the same ZPv2 title now for a 2 loop listen?
