Yesterday sub day 15 last work day of week.
Aeon/Earth custom, Khan P&W custom, Regeneration 3 min each.
Workout bench press 225x5, 245x5, 245x10. Up from 8 reps 2 weeks ago. I’d say regen didn’t have any negative effects on workout strength since I was only going for 9 reps.
Was energetic till I ate at 10:30 then was tired the rest of the day. Been dealing with some left arm golfers elbow and right wrist pain. Seen our on site physio yesterday. She worked both my wrists hard and suspects the problem with the right wrist stems from a nerve issue in the cervical spine or mid upper back.
I’m to work on range of motion for wrist rotation and I’m seeing her next week to look deeper into the back/nerve issue.
I’m getting very close to my lifetime peak bench press strength. In the past what would limit progression was shoulder pain left side. Hero:Earth seemed to fix that the past couple months. Now I gotta get this golfers elbow and wrist sorted out or that will be the next limiting factor. Ingréseles the upper back doing underhand grip barbell rows which also strains do to the limited wrist rotation range of motion. Also I think low bar squats strain both by the tension of forcing the bar so far back on the rear delts. High bar squat would mitigate this.
I have 1 heavy squat and bench day before max outs. I’ll get the max out squat in before I go back to work. The bench max I can do during work days as it’s not that taxing overall. I’d like to do another block of LB squat but if the pain persists will switch to high bar.
