Reclaiming my power - A Journal by MatAlexander305

Also one last thing:

Yes you have money but as I do or try to at least. Spend your money on experiences and not materialistic things because those things are what bring you true happiness (Thank you Mo Samuels)

But like mentioned before people don’t care, I’ve realized (Maybe it’s just me) I’m no longer impressed by the car a person has because after all you could lease a Tesla model x (Have you noticed Tesla is my favorite car?) and pay it monthly with minimum wage job. You’d be miserable but it’s possible.

Take an example from me, I like car as well but I only take ubers. Why? Less hassle, cheaper for me and I get to save money for a car that I actually wanna get when (And here’s the kicker), I actually need one!

Then again I have really good friends that bring me to places like the gym when I train with them or clubbing so there’s that factor (Goes back to our private convo of why you need good friends and why running you know what might counteract that  )

Lmfaoooo, no I’m with you on all of that. Very well spoken. Everything you said is essentially what I learned during that whole process.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted a Mustang. Bro I’m telling you, I didn’t even want a challenger, a charger, or a camaro. Just a mustang.

Facts, it’s funny because I always knew this to be true. But I was sidetracked. I had tunnel vision, all I wanted was that car.

But exactly, experiences and memories are what I want. And you could even say that perusing that mustang was a way to do this. But it was irresponsible and frankly delusional.

Yeah I’m beginning to think the same way. I overheard a guy taking at my gym. Said his buddy was financing a lambo, while working an average job. But get this, you can finance these things for like 30 years now

So take the logical and wise advise and don’t buy a car yet. Save your money and use Uber. To be honest I should be the last person talking about saving money but that’s because I like to go out and fun which takes money lol.

A sad but a truth I’ve noticed with many guys I know is it’s like girls. They can get the attractive girl so they try to date a girl their not unattractive simply for the reason of not feeling lonely but what’s the point of doing so? All they would be doing is making their selves unhappy which would make the girls unhappy. All in all if a attractive girl rejects take it as a lesson to grown and improve instead of getting comfortable.

You’re lucky in that regard. I needed a car. But I’m happy to have one. I like driving, I like the freedom that it comes with. I actually used to be afraid of driving. Was in a car crash when I was younger, so learning to drive and finally getting a car was a big deal for me

Not delusional at all but everything has a time and place. Become wealthy and you can buy 2 heck 3 mustangs if you want

Loll that’s what I’m saying it’s longer impressive. For example, I can rent a Porches 911 for a day and act like I’m rich but is really worth it? Spending 900$ on 24 hours with Porsche to flex (Unless your goal is to become instagram famous then yeah maybe and I might try this in the future but I can afford it without any consequences).

What I meant was, at the time it was. I know I’ll have one soon. But now, I’m not ready. Got more hills to climb first.

It’ll make it worth it

In that case just get a normal car for your first car (Remember if you get into a non harmful accident with a normal car which happens to the most of us like a scratch or you hit a small rock, it will be much less caring and much less expensive then a mustang) :joy:

Nono I’m talking about making good friends and not focusing solely on girls not that thing :joy:

Still being wealthy is important  (Speaking of wealthy considering we’re in Canada and cough cough taxes, 70k would be a good time where you’d be safe to buy a mustang, if you know you know).
