Reclaiming my power - A Journal by MatAlexander305

Got invited to go to Karaoke night tomorrow, by those two girls smh. I guess I’m a part of the whole friend group now.

I guess that’s a result of my custom. I’ve also been a lot more active on social media, texting more people, and talking in real life.

So far so good

Once a upon time, The Wanted Celebrity, The Reclaimed Power and the Wealthy Khan walked the streets of Canada with their group.

The Wanted Celebrity: Hey guys let’s go clubbing tonight I think it would be a great idea to see the true power of our customs.

The Reclaimed Power: Let’s do it bro! Can’t wait to have a bunch of latinas all over me.

The Wealthy Khan (In a serious tone): Yeah let’s just be careful to not be too drunk since we know what happens to us when we drink. We become too powerful.

All: Agreed, lets make this a good night.

To be continued…

Why is it always Latinas? Why not central European women  ?

@Matalexander305 is in love with Latinas, their his deity’s.

Personally I’m the same as you but I like eastern European since I’m at that as well (Russian).

Central Europe, Czechia, Slovakia, and Polland are all Slavic nations.
But I have nothing against Latinas, they are beautiful of course.

It’s true, they’re all mine. Just don’t stare too long, or they might steal your soul ( then hand it over to me :smiling_imp:)

You’re Russian? We’re definitely buying a bottle of vodka

Yeah, eastern and Central European chicks are gorgeous. I just have a thing for Latina’s right now.

Your the one you had a train going down by two dudes so you can have the men souls :star_struck:

Thankfully I’m a generous soul so I will be your wingman for the night

I convert their souls into power mere mortals could only dream of. The dirty remains, I send back to the soulless vessels. I’m a nice guy

:))

I never told you my Mustang story

So what happened?

When I was seeing this girl:

She had a Dodge Charger… and she was 19

I asked her about it, she made it seem all affordable and stuff so I said F it. I want a Mustang for my first car. I’ve always wanted one, it’d be fun to flex on all my old friends and enemies, chicks would dig it. Why not? I have money.

Pt 2

I started my search in February, and it was tough. Their wasn’t a lot of options in my area. Then one day, I found a beautiful blue mustang, 2019, less than 3000 Km’s for like $33,000 CDN. I was thinking, put down $10,000; finance it for 5 years and I’ll be fine. Might be a bit of a pain to drive in the winter but summer will be fun.

So I go test drive it, and it was a FKING BLAST. I had so much fun, it was fast, beautiful, people would constantly turn their heads and stare as I drove it. I though I found the perfect car. Then… we sat down, did the math, added taxes (that would’ve had to be paid upfront). And suddenly, I was unsure if I should go ahead with it. The car was $6000 below market which is damn near unheard of for a car like this. It didn’t have a warranty either. So that really made me nervous. And then, monthly payments plus the fuel consumption…

It hit hard, but I realized I couldn’t afford it. So I was pissed. I kept looking, found a cheaper convertible, realized that was stupid, 6 months of snow on the ground…? Hell no.

I started to expand my options, found a Dodge Challenger. 2012 with 56,000 km’s. I drove it and it good, but it was a 2012. So no warranty, and a few small scratches. Because it was so old, I couldn’t finance it past 3 years. With that plus the cost to fill the giant tank on that beast… had to say no.

Pt 3

I was really getting desperate, I thought ā€œNo way I’m going to drive an average car. F*ck that. I need something cool, I need something to stick out, I can’t be like everyone else.ā€

So I found a Dodge Charger, it was a nice white colour. But it was modded. Blacked out tail lights, loud exhaust, duck wing, front splitter. I’m not going to lie, I liked some of the cosmetic stuff, but the exhaust was obnoxiously loud. It sounded good, but it was too much for me. Anyways, I drive it and first thing I smell is smoke. ā€œF*ckā€ I thought. I just can’t win. But besides that and the exhaust, the car was good.

We go inside, they wouldn’t bargain on the price and again, no warranty. So that never worked out.

My dad was getting impatient, at the time he drove me to work everyday but that would soon stop. He gave me one week to find a car, or else i would have to Uber.

Pt 4

I was so angry, I can’t even begin to describe how mad I was. I hate being put in a box, I can’t stand when I don’t get what I want. The thought of having an normal boring car to me was deadly.

Finally I accepted that I wouldn’t be driving a muscle car for my first car. I started looking everywhere for something decent looking. That’s all I wanted. My standards for my own body translate into my taste in cars. I will not drive something ugly, I refuse. And at the time, I found 90% of the cars on the road ugly.

So it was really tough. Eventually, I stumbled upon a Chevy Malibu. I though, hmm… not bad. I check it out, the price is good, the km’s are low. It’s a nice blue colour (my favourite).

I though f it, the dealership is 5 minutes away, I’ll go check it out. Cause if I don’t buy this thing, I’m ubering tomorrow.

Pt 5

I see it, and I didn’t think much of it. I thought it looked decent. It had an aggressive muscular stance to it, so that I liked. But I was still comparing it to the three other beasts I drove. It’s like having a pair of expensive headphones that sound crystal clear, bass is bumping, you hear instruments and sounds you never heard before. Then… you realize you forgot them at home, you have an old pair of apple EarPods with the wire and everything, you put them on and think… well this is boring.

That’s how I felt, so I got in to test drive it. And first thing, me and my dad look at each other and think ā€œeww, that smoke smell is horrendousā€. The old lady who owned this nice car smoked like a chimney. It was disgusting. Besides that, the car was golden.

We get back to the dealership, express our concerns. She says she can get rid of the smell with a ā€œsmoke bombā€. Negotiations, negotiations, and I buy the car. I get 4 days later, smelling fresh and clean.

Now that I’ve had the car for close to two months, I love it. It stands out, it looks mean, it’s fast, it’s got a sun roof, windows are tinted. I think I did pretty good for my first car.

So what lessons were learnt here:

  • Balling on a budget is cool, but do not overestimate your abilities. You’re not super man.

  • Keep your ego in check, you’re not rich yet. Don’t pretend you are. No one really cares

  • Do it for yourself, no one cares what you drive. They may think it’s cool for about 5 mins, then that’s it.

As someone who’s been in the most nicest cars (Porches, Tesla, BMW sport version, Mercedes C Class, Mustang, etc.). I can humbly say that others will not care or be impressed by if you get a cool car.

Now hear me out! I’m not saying this to discourage you, I’m saying this get a car because you truly love it and like it. For example, how long has been since it has been your dream car, 1 year, 6 months. Is it impulsive liking or a long term liking.

I have a friend who’s dream is to buy a corvette but he genuinely wants it. Not because he wants to show off or make people jealous. He wants it because he loves the car and it would make him happy.

Why am I saying this and sounding like a ass in the process?

Because I’ve met so many in my life time and who are not wealthy or work a normal job buy a cool car and then regret because they can’t afford paying for it or have financial problems because it. Your young man just like me so remember cars will not disappear (I say this until Futurama becomes real life). What might seem attractive right now could be a regret in the future.

As I always say think about the future not the present because the future is what determines the life you will live. (Definitely didn’t not just pull that out of nowhere  )
