i meant more of real life examples where his principle clearly fails
Dang. You’re right. How did I forget Mr. Musk!
He’s so nice, I feel like if we ask him on Twitter, he’ll even tell us how he did it.
It’ll boost the market cap of the company too.
Win-Win-Win.
ah, didnt read that
i honestly dont have any im trying to think of something but meh nothing pops
think, there are tons… i disagree with that attachment thing
i couldnt find any in my case, but youre free to disagree thought i would share my thoughts
I posted this video in an earlier thread. If people think loosing hair and being bald like me is big thing think again…watch this video. The guy has a wife and kids
Going bald V having no limbs ???
i’m not disagreeing that its more of a mindset issue rather than a real problem…
If i didnt give a fuck about my hair… i wouldnt have even shared this on this forum
Yes and you can change you can OVERCOME YOUR INSECURITIES LIKE I DID LIKE THE GUY IN THE VIDEO DID.
Like I said previously, I was able to slow it down considerably We’re talking at least a decade here. Getting it back, no luck so far. There’s definitely still hair there though, it’s just not enough and not thick enough. More like what you’d find on upper arms.
I have a .3, a .5 and a 1.0mm one. I start with the small one, front to back, side to side and diagonals. Then work my way up. The scalp ends up sensitive as if it got a bit sunburned.
Fortunately I can go fast, so it doesn’t take too long. As long as the area is covered well.
Aside from the scalp it works well for stretch marks and scars. But it does take time.
And if you’ve ever seen the inventor do an interview… he uses them on his face, and at 80+ years his face still looks like 30, wrinkle free and all.
Just make sure it’s evaporated when you do the actual needling.
I would experiment with serums (those concentrated drops you rub into the skin after needling because they would go deep into the lower layers of the skin) but those are expensive.
Tim is balding, we could always suggest it to him. But I suspect he isn’t affected by it, and neither is Mr. Shiny in the picture.
Thing is, if I had wealth, women, success and power, I probably wouldn’t care about my hair. I might, as a hobby.
But when you don’t (yet) have those things, things like hair loss matter.
He’ll start a new company with his own money: HairX
And when he’s given bald men everywhere their hair back, he’ll bring back the Tesla convertible so we can all enjoy the wind in our hair. Bless that man.
I’m sorry, can you speak louder please?
Fact is, we all will. And all of us in our own time. Don’t force people to do it now. I may have accepted my hair loss but deep down I wasn’t done with it yet. I so wanted to try out JCast’s hairdo.
I wonder if fasting can help. It cleans out the gunk.
Or we could ask Trump. The debate on whether or not he’s got a transplant is still not settled. It must be one of the world’s best kept secrets.
No its a strain on my vocal cords
Ok maybe i was alittle harsh in my last post, i apologise was just trying to get my point across anyway enough said.
BOOOOOOOM.
THAT would be amazing to see, can you share a link?
OUCH! No kidding.
Yeah, any treatments I did do would be after microneedling… either a solution (pharma or natural oil) or light-based.
I always figured he’d enslaved a Tribble and forced it to perch there…
All joking aside, some things (like losing/never having a limb) are not really addressable besides acceptance, but if there is something that can be done (hair loss, in this case of course), then why not try? I love that this thread has gone in this direction as it’s something that affects so many guys and discussing possible treatments helps many of us.
Looks like in my enthusiasm I may have exaggerated a bit by regurgitating what I was remembered. Still, Dr. Des Fernandez looks really good for a person in their 70’s.
Since they advise not to get any sunlight after transplants and microneedling damages the skin in a less invasive but still significant way, I’d recommend against using light therapy after rolling.
Same might go for oils since those might clog the pores. I think they often use vitamin C or serums that feeds the skin.
Agreed. And it’s definitely one of those things that should get more attention in my opinion. Sure, prioritize cancer research, but come on, we have some of the most useless research going on. Invest some into natural hair regrowth. If it is caused by a byproduct which is naturally produced in the body, and hair follicles on the body which have been dormant for decades can suddenly become active, then there has to be something which can be done.
Acceptance takes away the negative attachment which holds us back. It does not and should not stop us from striving for more.
Hmm perhaps before needling then. I’m still doing research.
Makes sense.
Agreed 100%! I’m currently reading Dr. Fung’s book The Cancer Code, and it’s really enlightening re: the fruitless avenues that are still being pursued out of sheer dogma adherence. Some of this is new to me, other parts are not. I wrote a paper on the Warburg effect 20 years ago in a bioethics class, and even today people are still spending billions of dollars hunting for a (nonexistent) singular genetic cause.
As a faster, I am very familiar with his stuff. He seems quite well versed.
In my opinion, as long as they continue to see cancer as a disease instead of a symptom, they’ll not be able to find a cure. But see it as a symptom and suddenly the underlying cause can become clear.
But of course, fixing the underlying cause means moving away from most of the things that generate massive income for certain industries.
But we were talking about hair. There’s that guy I linked to up top. He started out training his muscles to move his scalp. Doing that daily causes increased blood flow as well. It’s the atrophied muscle which wiggles the ears that is the tough one.
Absolutely! Approaching it as a metabolic disorder is getting closer, but looking at it as a reversion to intrinsic cellular behavior is a huge mental shift… and the one that actually fits all of the empirical data. I was at a conference early last year where Dr. Osman Kibar presented some of his findings with Wnt pathway modulation for radical cellular regeneration, including on hair re-growth. Dr. David Sinclair also presented on a similar topic, focusing on the “damaged information” theory of aging and regeneration. The takeaway is that there is a way to turn cellular growth of specific tissues back on, even if they have been “off” for a while.
Cancer is an unregulated version of this, but properly regulated it could be a way to re-grow hair even starting with total loss of follicles.
(see? brought it back. lol)
Just go bald man, and fucking own it.
@James I would advise against such products as as its too try hard and just highlights just how insecure one is to little things like hair loss.
One thought that came to me as I was out mowing the lawn last night. Someone says they’re not happy with how their hair looks, in regards to it affecting their self confidence, self identity, etc. Some people offer suggestions, other people say just accept it and own it.
All valid.
(begin tongue planted firmly in-cheek section…)
But, can you imagine that response for other situations?
"Help! I’m broke and have no motivation to get a job… What can I do?"
“Dude, just own it! Proudly be broke, money and productivity are overrated anyway!”
or
"Help! I’m a virgin, I’ve always been way too shy to talk to girls. What can I do?"
“Just own it… proudly be a virgin, and be the best virgin you can be! It’ll make you interesting, you can be Virgin Guy!”
If someone can change something about themselves that they want to change, why dissuade them? No disrespect intended whatsoever to any response here, I just thought it was interesting how most of the time responses are helpful and supportive of a poster’s goals, yet when it comes to hair loss, “suck it up, princess” or “just deal with it” are commonly in the mix of replies.
I personally wouldn’t call thinning hair devastating, just an annoyance that I want to address before it gets too far. Were I in my 20s and still single though? Yeah, big difference.
