Is this not because hair loss is something that can’t really be fixed?
Or is it that men aren’t really fussed about their appearance?
Being bald isn’t a sign of being an inept loser at the civilization game. 
ROI of time, energy, and money? Similar to dissuading someone from a oneitis. 
Just some thoughts. No deep thinking in this post.
And no disagreement with supporting people in their goals.
