Summary
@Azriel — picking up your question about charisma, wit and selling yourself outside sales in True Sell Stage 1.
The framing versus the features
The page never uses the words charisma or wit, but many of its features describe exactly that. The framing is descriptive: every feature is written in the language of buyers, pipeline and price, because that is the setting the title was built for. What each feature develops, though, is a capacity in you, and capacities don’t stay in the office. The same steadiness that holds a price holds a boundary; the same directness that asks for the decision asks for the promotion, the date or the favour.
The features that are charisma
- Voice of Authority: a level, clear, unhurried delivery that gives what you say weight.
- The Natural Seller: clear about what you do and why it matters, with no hedging and no persona.
- The First Two Minutes: building a direct, human conversation fast, so people tell you what is really going on.
- Power Before the Pitch: pursuing something fully without depending on it, which is where most of the pull comes from.
- Unshakeable: staying level when someone pushes back or the tone changes.
- Love of the Game: a genuine interest in the other person and the problem, which people can feel.
- Full Effort, Clean Release: doing everything the moment asks and then letting go, instead of chasing reassurance.
The features that are wit
- The Second Answer: hearing the real thing underneath the first thing someone says.
- The Overheard Deal: catching the opportunity inside an ordinary conversation and turning it into a next move.
- The Ninety-Second Reset: recovering fast, so one miss doesn’t colour the next exchange.
-
The Direct Ask: saying the plain thing at the right moment and letting it land.
This is wit as sharpness of mind and timing rather than jokes; quickness of perception, not verbal fireworks.
The features that are selling yourself across all fields
- The Turning Point: treating the ability to turn what you know into a decision as a core capability, whatever the field.
- The Reputation Asset: being the person people trust with the next thing because of how you handled the last one.
- Evidence of Demand: confidence drawn from your own history, so a quiet stretch doesn’t change how you carry yourself.
- Paid Without Flinching: stating your number, your terms or your worth and letting it stand.
- Your Best Lane: knowing where your effort gets the highest return and leaning into it.
Compared with the previous True Sell
The original True Sell module aimed at a silver tongue and at monetising anything. Stage 1 builds what sits underneath persuasion: steadiness, directness, trust and recovery. Early on that can feel quieter than charm, which fits what you noticed in testing, but the reach is wider, not narrower, because it goes with you into every room rather than switching on for a pitch. If you want the silver-tongue flavour alongside it, the original True Sell module is still available for customs, and Stage 4 adds The Universal Seller for carrying the craft across fields.
Next step
Keep running Stage 1 and deliberately take it into the non-commercial situations you named: the introduction, the favour, the room where you are the offer. Watch for the features above showing up there. For how to run it — loops, ramp-up, rest days — use the official instructions: https://instructions.subliminalclub.com
