Q UPDATE: Multiple masks are coming to Q and more!

Hey Saint! I know custom Ultimas were your main focus for the past couple of weeks.

With their launch, I wonder what are launch priorities next.

I know the two main things in the air are name-embedded majors and multiple masks for customs.

Any note on which of the two are currently the primary focus?

I would love if the majors with name-embedding comes out next --> something for the more lower-budget crowd

It’s probably because I haven’t purchased any Ultimas yet, and have only the Executive which I’ve been sitting on so I’m not aware of how good Ultima is, but I’m far more excited for name embedded regular subs than anything else coming up, lol (that has been announced, anyway. I have a sneaky suspicion Saint and Fire are about to hit us with a doozy of a reveal soon enough).

Q programs vs. Q customs

Custom programs are superior to Major Titles in almost every way IF you’re completely honest with yourself about your shortcomings and you take the time to build a custom that will alleviate those issues. Everyone keeps focusing on things like density, when I keep saying that density is less important than correctly identifying your issues and coming up with a game plan to attack them with subliminals. For example, Blue Skies Ultima is relatively short, and yet it’s extremely hard for me to run…

I don’t know how about stacking Ultimas (two or more Ulimas) but stacking one with a major program gives great results as you can read in my journal and I bet in the journals of many other users who decided to do the same. Actually, I stacked StarkT with two Ultimas once. With the Commander and Executive but I started stonewalling and it felt weird in general so I gave up on listening to the Executive.

I don’t know if I’d say I’m a ‘more experienced user’ but I’ve run some experiments in my 8 months here

Here’s what I’ve discovered

1. Don’t do 2 terminus titles at a time unless they are same core different modules.
2. Stacking 3 Q subs at 1-3 hours a day each is pushing the limit of seeing the full effects of each
3. Terminus has to be 1 loop a day if stacked with anything else except Ultima
4. After you acclimate to an Ultima you can do 2 different titles a day, preferably 6+ hours apart, but Elixer and The Beast WIthin go well close to each other, where as BLU and LIbertine do not
5. If running 2+loops of terminus a day, must take the next day off from everything except Ultima or 1 loop of Q at most
6. I can successfully stack 1 loop terminus 3 loops different Q subs, and 2 Ultimas a day, if in action on everything related to all those titles.
7. I have successfully stacked 1 loop terminus 5 loops of 3 different Q subs and 2 Ultimas a day-but the jury is out on the sustainability of this.

When Saint told me I asked pretty much the same things. Here’s how I got it after about two days of asking questions.

• You can pick any 3-6 modules in the Q store and then build them as an Ultima. So not as Q, Terminus or T², but as Ultima. Any module that’s currently in the store (note to SaintSovereign: does that include the “regular” cores?).
• The Ultima Cores (so the things that are Ultima now, like Libertine, Elixir, Commander and so on) will not have corresponding modules in the Q store. This is done for two reasons.
  First, because Ultima is tricky to code and therefor there’s no guarantee if it would work if you take for example Libertine Core and you add a few seduction modules on top. The technology is not yet smart enough to figure out if the combination you pick will actually work well together in a single Ultima.
  Second, because as Saint stated above, people will inevitably build a non-Ultima in the store that contains an Ultima Core. Which won’t work because of how Ultima Cores are scripted.
• To answer @Floridianninja’s question, the store backend/software doesn’t support the complexity necessary to lock certain modules to an Ultima build and certain modules to a non-Ultima build. So a choice had to be made, and given that a custom sub takes time, resources and money, SubClub chose that for the time being, we’ll protect people from themselves and not add Ultima Core modules to the store. This will likely change in the future if the store software changes/evolves.

So there’s the confusion that we all share(d). You can build regular modules in a smaller, targeted Ultima format (which many people have asked for), but you don’t get Ultima-only modules.

I expect we’ll be seeing custom Blue Skies Ultimas and named Stark Ultimas and Physical Shifting Ultimas (second note to Saint: will physical shifting work faster in an Ultima?).

Hopefully all with new masks.

I can add it but whats the related question?we now have ultima core modules in the store and not all of them can be used in q subs.information doesnt feel like its relevant anymore unless im missing something.
