Great read. I felt tension with the idea of pedestalizing money at the beginning, but the turning point was when Nuevo realized there was a part of him still seeking validation from the old money elite and came to refocus on his deeper purpose beyond money…knew I’d be able to run this title after that point.
The fact that he doesn’t fall into the trappings of status chasing behavior, and spends his money strategically was great. And staying stealthy has its advantages, but it seems like with Nouveau RICH you won’t stay too stealthy for too long…disrupting markets and stealth don’t really mix. Or maybe that’s still a choice?

This one seems to have the element of being intentional with your money and also the big thing of creating value. I feel this could be leaning too much into tech which is what Stark already does super well.
This is leaning into the dangerous territory of us versus them. To me new money is all about making money doing the thing I would do for free.
How can I add value by already doing the things i love? The disrupter is part of it. New money to me is the creator economy. The people who take hobbies and turn it to successful businesses.
So many independent media companies, independent gaming companies, small niche businesses, youtuber creators, podcasters are disrupting wide ranges of industries through doing stuff they love. I feel this is missing that element.
In the story the “new money” is playing the old money’s game by engaging with them at all. New money is all about taking your passions, monetizing by delivering massive value, and live your life not even thinking about “the system”
By fighting the system, you can make it stronger. The true rebels just do their thing because they want to, not to take down old elites.
Summary to me new money is all about finding how to create and deliver massive value doing the things you would do for free. It’s no longer about the tech game, it’s about the niche market, and delivering massive value on a concept people didn’t even think of before and before you know it, you are part of creating an entire new industry. (People make millions playing videogames, crafting handmade products, independent gaming companies, independent media companies) watching other people play video games is the #1 entertainment in the world, yet Netflix and other “disrupters” are being silently taken out by people doing what they love and there’s not really a way to pivot because it’s a completely different game.
ACTUAL SUMMARY: New money is playing an entirely different game than the old guard and tech disrupters. While the old guard and tech disrupters are playing chess against each other , the new money formed a party together and decided to play D&D instead where success is completely alien to the chess players. (There’s no true “winning” in dnd. It’s all about weaving a fantastic story using strategic elements) storytelling is what makes us human and is part of every society from the earliest nomads to the industrialized societies.
A lot of fantastic concepts, but it feels a bit off and passionless.

I read the story a few times because I wanted to absorb what it was conveying to me.
This may or may not be a lengthy post, but, a few things struck out at me from the beginning and all the way through the end.
First, the character of Vesper reminded me very much of an older school cat who used to drop some fantastic posts on his own site - Michael Porfirio Mason from the gmanifesto. The way Vesper moved and did his hustle, I kept thinking back to the old Mason posts. That’s just a personal observation.
I love how you wrote the story and I can see why it was written the way it was - it effectively forces people to start considering the sides of wealth and how they internally, whether justified or not, sit with the objectives of it.
When you’re broaching the topic of old money versus new money, you’re effectively talking about two sides of the same coin. Ultimately, today’s new guard becomes tomorrow’s old guard, and you see that even with some of the tech firms. Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates are the old guard of technology now compared to a Brian Armstrong from Coinbase. The way the technology platforms are trying to disrupt a new market while the older platforms are sustaining an established system is a perfect example of how companies effectively draw their lines in the sand when it comes to power dynamics and market dominance.
I say this while also having friends who come from generational wealth, and yeah, old money is very often carried on the backs of a legacy and therefore often times maintains it’s own airs, compared to how ostentatious new money plays with Champagne bottles in the VIP section. A real life example of someone who wanted to flex with new money is Jho Low. For anyone interested, I would suggest that they read The Billion Dollar Whale. It’s a brilliant look into the world of how far people will go to establish themselves with a sense of importance. Or head to Dubai, an entire city built on some of the new money principles. By the way, this isn’t a criticism as much as it is an observation.
I’m digressing.
The thing I most appreciated about the story is demystifying the idea of what true value is - whether that’s to the individual themselves or to their target customers. A perfect example of this is the power of brand value - a few years ago there was a trend known as accessible luxury. This is when the luxury brands started to price themselves to broaden their market to sell to the upper middle class and the recently rich. Ultimately, all that did was diminish the value of most of those brands. The few fashion houses and luxury goods providers that stood their ground, gained even more brand value with their very exclusive clientele in the years following this trend. All because they didn’t compromise on their brand value.
The most important takeaway I had from the story was the emphasis on removing the highly emotionally charged concepts we have around money. Our feelings around money ultimately determines what we will do for money and how much of an importance it has in our lives. I say this from the perspective of that value being disproportionately skewed comparative to other facets of our lives. Not sure if this makes sense to everyone or not - it’s late as I’m writing all this out, so this post may be edited again in the future.
Finally, this particular sub almost feels like a mix of the original RICH, which did have some scripting for how to destroy a users internal wealth ceilings, but also reminds me of Mogul in a way, where it brings that shrewd and calculated approach when it came to work or professional pursuits.
I will say that I think what this sub is trying to accomplish will be interesting to see with something like H0M, as I think the person who can balance these two subs in a stack will have the best of both worlds. I would throw Khan in there as the dark horse and yea… that’s like a dream stack for me right there.
I’ll be looking at the reports on this one and I will be patiently waiting for the remainder of the subs to be updated to this new experience. Definitely a very exciting time ahead for us subclub members.

I felt no controversy. It just made me want to get the program and start running it.
Everything Nuevo said made sense. We are embedded within systems of imagination, of communication, of desire, of convention and tradition. These systems are structured around patterns and dynamics of power. Learning to look clearly at them, to understand them, and–most importantly of all–to navigate them with greater skill…man, if not the holy grail, it’s definitely one of them.
The agility of these points of view. Just highly appealing to me. It’s already what I was hoping to do, using conscious guidance. So this just looks great.

I like that the story implies it’s for new rich and almost a starter title for people trying to get into business or start a new vertical or cash flow.
Because Rich usually has been for people who already have a cash flow somewhere. This might be good for us that haven’t even started. Also hints at removing wealth and innovation ceilings. Basically making business more accessible. Could be wrong though…
Also, the revelator has me wanting to run RoS/RoM again. This guy is on to something, and all these heroes and villains of the story, they are his puppets, he is like a joker stirring up the pot, only to laugh at you in the end for taking life so seriously.
Like he wants people to achieve all these “attributes” rich, attractive, high status, etc, to show you how meaningless they are. Just a wild thought.

My analysis is that Nuevo R.I.C.H. is disruptive because it’s about control of your destiny, and being a force to be reckoned with beyond external actors. Old money has a natural smug, arrogant posture that Nuevo can be bought and sold, that he needs their seal of approval, but…
Nuevo is having none of that. Nuevo forges his own seal of approval and gives not a single fucking crumb of power away, trying to win the good graces of the establishment.
Nuevo is bold, and not afraid to stand on his own against the world. He’s a creator of worlds. An alchemist… turning rocks into gold. Turning very little, perceptibly nothing… into something monumental. He’s about the journey old money never had to the top and quite frankly, they are envious and want to flip the dynamic. It’s swimming against the current.

The concept artwork, and text takes me immediately to the positive Destroyer archetype. It’s not wanton destruction for the sake of mayhem, but tearing down an old structure to build something new, because these relics are mere vestiges of the past that are no longer serving the purpose of civilization which is progress.
Nuevo isn’t just a man, but a very real force present in today’s society. An impulse, if you will, and we are constantly challenged to give up this impulse and succumb to approval, mediocrity, malaise and accepting less than what we can go for.
It’s about how much you’re worth, because you set the price and boldly uphold your price.

Well the copy says he is brilliant and sees 8 steps ahead. then he disrupts the market with novel ideas.
So, I dont expect the inteligence boost from Emp, but more like a combination of stark-rm-ig-me(rom): creative, tech savvy, visualisation of end results.
Now, If I’m right about this, I can get over the pain of not seeing our beloved Stark not getting the Black treatment.

I think its kinda obvious.
I think NRICH has more of the Emperor vibe where you built your empire in silence, dealing with people in the background (the old money) whereas stark is clearly fame-ridden in front of people.
It’s interesting. NRICH seems to give EOG an actual archetype, before EoG to me felt like a wealth title that just “generally” covers millionaire levels, but it always FELT like a sub where you are a person “that is just financially on top of the game.”
Now it seems to have a much more Entrepreneurial touch to it. And an actual story.
It seems like the underdog titles. From 0 to riches which of course, is what most people need when they come to money subs, and it fits the initial stage 1 of EoG.
I like it, although it doesn’t directly fit my goals, it might however be a good addition in a stack for the money revelations and deeper understanding.
Also, there seems to be a lot of scripting to undo societal programming. In fact, the whole story seems to revolve around getting a new perspective and grasp on how money ACTUALLY works (new and old) and Vesper is THROUGH ACTION and implementing his newfound knowledge gaining deeper insight in his own relationship to money and how it works in general (and what it means).
Plus,I liked that it manifests surreal chance meetings with powerful people over just plainly manifesting money. I remember you talking about how this is kinda difficult (since you would be just manifesting energy, which is impossible, it can only be changed, right?) so I like this approach a lot.
Oh yeah and “Vesper” is a german kinda slang word for Dinner. Idk if this was intentional
