If it were me, I would go to a physician or licensed health care professional.

Perhaps your general physician could recommend someone.

Do you use yourself the hd280 without a DAC?

Not on my phone. I use the HD280 on my computer. But, I’ll look into this. The HD280 shouldn’t draw more power than the newer iPhones can provide. Can you check them on another phone?

sure ill try,

i found that 50% on the my iPhone XS Max sounds comfy, or maybe a bit at 45%

but im scared of ultima ruining my ears, ill check with the app

how loud should my ultima audio be?

at what db?

Also i just purchased the app, and it doesnt evaluate the audio unless its outside

So i cant measure the audio db when im using my headphones

The ultrasonic part of the file should be sub -50db. As for the app, is there another phone you can use just for measuring? Do you have an older iPhone on hand, for example.

You can play Ultima pretty low and still get results. As long as you can hear the quieter parts of the mask, you’re good.

I always listen to my Ultimas on the lowest volume.

So if i had another phone and measured the db lets say

It will be the same db as if i put the headphones on?

So if its -60db on freequensee on 50% on iphone volume

Then i plug my hd 280, it will still be the same volume and db right?

So if it sounds safe on my iphone speakers its gonna be the same on my hd280’s

The problem is i play my ultima then straight after it is i play EmperorQ

Its all in one playlist
So i always have to find that sweetspot of both sub audios sounding at least clear and that i can hear the water very good just in case

With my observation, i noticed theres 2 parts of the masked

The always running water like a waterfall, thats always running

And theres the small water drops that comes from time to time when playing the audio, its not always there

Which one you mean?

To take part to the discussion
I’ve used the Sony XB50AP Extra bass since the begining and always seemed to get really great results, they’re not that expensive and the sound is really good for everyone who enjoy a good bassy experience of listening ( I like when the “sound” sounds “roundish”)

The sound never crack no matter how high is the volume.
The only two down sides is that I don’t know if the extra bass is influencing anything in the quality of the sub :frowning: and they’re a bit “big” for earphones but I personnaly don’t care about that part.

Otherwise they’re quite resisting for earphones and not that expensive too (Under 50$ or even 30$ depending on the generation) :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

So are you saying that the Ultima is louder or softer than EmperorQ?

ultimas are louder,

i cant find a sweet sweet spot for both programs sadly

wish they were on the same level,

Hey @SaintSovereign . What do you mean bu the quieter parts of the mask?

I tried playing it and find the quite parts to see if its audible with the volume that i chose or not, but i cant figure out what youre talking about

Do you mean the parts where some raindrops appear in the audio? Or you mean the stream of water that keeps going and going and going over and over the same thing

And sometimes theres like small raindrops from time to time it becomes audible

Which one you mean? I have to say im very anxious about this topic everytime i go through the same thought process about if my submind can get the msgs or i need louder audio than this

Thanks

Would you please submit 2 separate support tickets for your above 2 posts?

Hello all,

This is my first post on this forum although I have been with Subclub for awhile now and as a long time forum reader. Truly an amazing club.

My question is in regarding the AirPods Max headphones I have. I have being using them to listen to the titles with great success but I am wondering that, if I have the transparency mode on, could I listen to music with the headphones yet at the same time listen to ultrasonics that are being played by my computer? I’m wondering if anyone would know if the transparency mode would allow such a high frequency from the ultrasonics played into the headphones. I’m sure other brands that have the transparency mode would be similar in which range of frequencies are “played” into the headphones.

Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to answer this question.

I would say yes that would work. You can send in a support ticket to be sure

Thanks! I’ll send in a support ticket.
