true.

I don’t know why this is so simple yet it makes sense when you say it.

I deleted the post so there won’t be an issue any longer

I cannot even express well enough how grateful I am to SC for helping me become a healthier and way more mature human being. I would say healing and maturation, thanks to SC subs, are the main drive behind all our progress.

I love the quote of Kenrick Cleveland answering the question: “Can people be persuaded against their will.”
:
"Well, in like manner, we can will anything and everything we want into being, too, but we’ve got a small problem. And the small problem is that we’ve spent our life diminishing, decreasing and devaluing our will. So, for most people today that you run into, they don’t have a will. That’s why when people say, —Can I persuade people against their will?“ I laugh and say, —What will?“ And that’s evidenced by this little joke.

A man walks up to a most attractive woman in a bar. She’s beautiful, looks like she’s there on business. And he says to her… by the way, no offense to men or women on this one, I’m just making a point . . . he says to her, —Ma’am, I’m here on business. I suspect you get approached all the time by people and I suspect they approach you disingenuously, offering to buy you a beer or a drink, in an attempt to make small talk and leverage that small token of gesture that they’ve made into trying to sleep with you. I’m an extraordinarily wealthy man and I’m not going to insult you like that.

What I do want to tell you and I hope this isn’t insulting to you, is that you’re literally, one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen in my life. And rather than insult you by trying to do something by way of what everybody does, I’d like to try a different approach. I have a briefcase that’s with me right here. And if I had a million dollars cash in my briefcase and I offered it to you to spend the night with you . . . nothing kinky, nothing weird, just a genuinely good time between two consenting adults, and again, I mean no offense, would you consider an offer like that?“

The woman looks at him and she says, —Well, I have to say that’s pretty creative of you, certainly different than the average guy coming to approach me.“ She says, — Well, you know, I don’t know. Really? A million dollars?“

He said, —Yes, like I told you, I’m an extremely wealthy man and it’s got to go somewhere.“ She says, —You know, for a million dollars, I suppose if you’re serious, yeah, I’d consider it.“ He said, - All right.

Since we’re talking hypothetically, let’s just say that it was $100,000. It may be hard to put a million dollars in a briefcase, but let’s say I had $100,000 right here and $100,000 says we’d spend the night together. What would you say to that?“ He says, —That might be a little more realistic.“

She says, —Well, you know, if you offered me $100,000 and if it wasn’t anything too weird, maybe I’d do that. Maybe that would be worth doing.“ He says, —All right, would you do it for $10 bucks.“ And she says, —Hell, no! What do you think I am, a prostitute?“

He says, —Well, ma’am, we’ve already established that. We’re just haggling over the price.“ Need I say more about will? People don’t have them. They’re very poorly developed. And for the most part, what they have done is proven to themselves, worse yet, their unconscious mind that their will doesn’t matter, that their own words don’t matter.

And if you have convinced yourself at the deepest level that your words don’t matter, then what will be the odds of you speaking something into being? Nothing, zero, it won’t happen."

Hope this little story might be insightful for some of you. Cheers

If you’re thinking critically (dangerous word, in context), you would have define what an ‘organized religion’ is.

What’s the line between a cult and organized religion?

A forum and a church.

The thinker.

To answer your question…

Maybe.

It sounds to me like the central conflict in this “example” is the price the woman would accept to engage in what the man has defined as “prostitution.” Apparently, the divide between a million dollars and $10 is far too much to bear, and as such, she declines the latter offer.

To me, this indicates that she was not “influenced” at all, but rather she consciously thought through the entire proposition and rejected the offer she found would bring cognitive dissonance ($10) and chose the one that would outweigh any negative emotions ($1 million). In effect, she was not persuaded at all, nor does she suffer from a “weak will.”

Given the fact that sexual subliminals are amongst the highest selling here and at other websites and the fact that most people have (or want to) propositioned sex to an individual at a bar for the low investment of just a few drinks and time, I would question if accepting $100k+ in payment to simply sleep with an attractive individual is even immoral or unethical (by societal measures, not religious – that adds another element to the mix) at all.

Her exclamation of “what do you think I am, a prostitute” seems to be a euphemism for “do you think I would take on the emotional burden of feeling like a prostitute for just $10?” But given the fact that $100k+ is “life changing” money in the first place, the act of her thinking through the proposition indicates that the major factor in this example rests solely in the value of money over the value of refusing to engage in an act that others would consider immoral. Again, all matters of the conscious mind mulling over conscious things.

At the end of the day, this example has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not a subliminal audio title has the capacity to “control” / force an individual into taking an action that they consciously do not wish to perform.

I see your point, but I think there’s room for nuance here.
For instance, using affirmations or visualizations can absolutely shift your reality, even without immediate action.

I’ve experienced this myself: when I visualized women being attracted to me or repeated affirmations about it, the results started showing up in ways that felt completely out of sync with my then-current reality!

For example, despite having a lot of resistance to romance at the time, I had women unexpectedly show intense interest in me.

One client even said, “I want to f*** you,” which was light-years away from where I thought my life was at the time!
Another time, girls at a bar told my friends they wanted to meet me.
This happened after he approach them and I was few feet away.
This is not a common thing; My friend was confused and I felt uncomfortable taking his target which interestingly enough didn’t mean it as a ShitTest but were genuinely interested and attracted to me.

These weren’t things I consciously made happen—they felt like the momentum of my thoughts and affirmations manifesting themselves and bringing these experiences into my life, whether I was ready for them or not.

Now that I’m exploring subliminals, I’m curious—do they work in the same way?
Do they plant and nurture those seeds of thought until the momentum builds and reality starts to shift, even without immediate action or lets say it better. Even with resistance and trauma? Or is the mechanism different, requiring a more active role from the user?

Both.

Neither.

Either.

I think it probably depends on who you are and on your starting point.

Can I qualify for the Olympic swim team after 6 months of working out?

The answer to that question is two more questions:

  1. Who are you?
  2. What have you already done?

Subliminals work to optimize, develop, and harness your mind. Your capacities. Your potential.

So eagles will fly better. Dolphins will swim better.

But there’s always a lot of unknown and unused potential in every one’s mind. So when we run the same program, I might not get your treasure, but I’m definitely going to get a (lot of) treasure.

As I see it, your past experiences with manifesting have shown you something about how your mind responds to visualization, will, focus, and repetition. That’s an attribute of your mind. When you play Mind’s Eye, it’s very likely to activate and develop that attribute, because that’s part of your mind. My play of Mind’s Eye will probably go a little differently.

I actually did play the previous version of Mind’s Eye for 13 months way back when. And I got a bunch of internal openings and Shadow Work opportunities. So…

could you please share your affirmation/visualization techniques?

A lot of people ask me about this here and in other places …
I might start a thread to help and explain

Generally speaking you need to be constantly using these methods everyday
Mirror affirmations
And visualizations
You visualize what you want and affirm what you want in present tense

A thread would be great.

Thank you for the info.

I just saw this post of mine from over a year ago and I cannot tell you what I meant with this, nor can I decipher what the point was.

I don’t do drugs but it sure looks like I was smoking crack.
