After quite a long time without SC, I came back to try it again seems like the Mono Masked version from the phone speaker is doing pretty well. Better than with headphones. With them I have always had many issues, recon, headaches, less sleep, etc.
With this mono style, I have not had any major issues so far.
Did you continue using Mono?
Yeah, it’s my go to for now. But I plan to alternate between mono and regular whenever I feel like.
Mono can also be used for headphones or not?
Possibilities are endless, you can even fry eggs with headphones
Yes it can.
However, due to your sensitivity to subs, I would advice you to avoid using mono with a 10-feet pole. Use the sub as is until you’re able to get the results you want without unnecessary discomfort.
Why?
Usually, the subs feel spaced. Like elements of the sub are panned (musically), maybe to give a more comfortable user experience or for balance. However, on mono the sub feels more compact, no ‘space’ for balance and an element of more focus is introduced. Could be hard to use properly.
PS: Everything written here is my opinion and not an official statement of SubClub.
Whats a 10 feet pole?
I don’t think I am more sensitive than someone else just perhaps something deeper is going on here.
I notice now perhaps the 1 min loops are hitting me in ways where my subconscious is trying to resolve certain specific issues more quicker than otherwise.
On the one hand I don’t want to experiment with unknown elements and no official feedback has been given about this audio thing
304.8cm / 3m pole around you, do not worry, they still use medieval measurements
It’s quite a nerdy reference.
In a tabletop game called Dungeon & Dragons, some people cheese/check for traps using a 10 foot pole. Not touching something using a 10 foot pole means it’s sketchy enough that they don’t even need to check it.
Lmao I never heard of that.
Man I totally get you and I was referring to the same thing you’re referring to. And what is going on deeper within has brought some disruptions to how you experience your daily life.
All I’m saying is I don’t think the experimentation is worth it for now, as it could cause more unprecedented disruptions.
I never knew that was a DnD reference either😂. But I meant the same thing
Thanks for the encouragement. I lost 4.5k usd today and yesterday with trading. Normally all my trades are on point. I notice that whenever I start using the subs weird internal patterns will push me left and right and things either go perfectly as I want them and I feel blessed or everything just goes down the drain.
I just want stability in my progress and to get on top of my hurdles at the end of the day.
Despite all this I am thinking why things never work out but emotionally I am doing quite okay I don’t really understand why I don’t feel more about the money. 4.5k is a big deal for me. And it sets me back big time.
Very interesting thread, maybe the new official recommendations should be to listen with mono
Would do you say @AnswerGroup
Why?
If mono is better and SC agreed, it would be easier to just set the sub to mono in the first place.
so far most people here seem to benefit more from mono
The titles are made in stereo, listen in stereo. This is coming from the audio engineering world where the advice is to sum the track down to mono during mixing, which does have merit if you intend for your music to be played in mono like a club or venue since they can sound horrible if you don’t test for this.
People. Get a pair of headphones. Listen to the tracks. They are professionally made to work with multiple systems and listening setups. Trying to artificially boost results will only lead to detrimental effects.
What if someone sees better results with phone speakers compared to their stereo headphones?
There are multiple reasons why one would see this occur, most likely related to volume, not stereo vs. mono. Most cheap phones with one speaker automatically sums to mono anyway, so there’s no need to attempt to force it. All you’re doing is editing the file improperly and possibly causing negative effects.
Just 1 last question, will listening via phone speaners even if they are a cheap phone with one speaker automatically making them mono still give 100% of the subliminals results?
