Manfiestion, Affirmations and Esoteric Jibber Jabber

This is the thread so we stop clogging up the sresm boy thread. I dunno I’ll add a proper description later.

Some recent theories suggest that being “Delu” is an effective technique as you’re dismissing the physical circumstances holding you back and embracing your inner reality. Would work great with Minds Eye tbh.

Note: I’m not an expert, I’m just relaying concepts in the way I understand them.

Focusing on the end result is what ultimately manifests the desired outcome. Byy focusing on “I’m progressing” you can easily get stuck in a hamster wheel of progress and make little momentum towards your actual goals.

I vote for being delusional going out. And afterwards, going all ” what went well what didn’t”. When it’s game time, it’s game time. When it’s practice, it’s practice.

I like having delulu confidence. Like game face on baby

How does someone go delulu confidence? I need this

Fake it til you make it. Check out some videos from YouTuber Sammy Igrammy. She’s a big proponent of delulu confidence and manifestation

100%. (Also Sammy is a great recommendation)

I’m a huge proponent of ‘delulu’ thinking. For every single major innovation that we use today there were countless people who deemed it impossible, ridiculous, or a waste of time.

The people who go beyond and push boundaries for greatness are always operating under what is considered delusional.

Everyone should take that philosophy and apply it to their lives, especially in the areas that require more encouragement or effort.

I tried to watch Sammy. Something is seriously off about her, she gives me bad vibes. Like I can totally be wrong, but she’s a no for me.

Her personality can definitely be polarizing, but that aside, there is certainly insight in what she says.

Our thoughts shape reality via impressing the subconscious mind, and the people who affirm in the ways she recommends have the desired changes to back it up. Regardless of who you hear it from (her or another content creator or author) keep putting your thoughts to good use for yourself.

I guess I don’t really understand how anyone does it. I used to do stuff like trying to affirm and being positive and all that, but it made me feel worse. My mind would give me ALL the emotions of the exact opposite. I found a study that actually tested that exact thing. I think being aware of what you tell yourself is really important but in some cases you’re worse off.

That’s why I run these subs pretty much and stay away from the LOA manifesting stuff because it gets victim blamey after a while and toxic

Conscious Rewiring is simple…
but it isn’t easy & everyone won’t do it

The need for processing is a
good & overlooked distinction

It’s also often the overvaluing all these goals
They overload & stress the nervous system
They are nice but don’t define the real you

I still like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
as a start

Quick disclaimer

What you’re about to read next is all my subjective understanding.

From my perspective, delusional confidence is not a technique, it is an expression.

An expression of sense of deservedness.

There are three ways I currently know of to expand this sense, but all are still an expression of one another, just aspects of approach.

  • Faith
  • Love
  • Evidence
Faith

In a story, yourself and reality (God, if you presume).

Faith can only be cultivated when there’s acceptance of a concise aspect of the story, person or reality. I.e without a frame, faith cannot be contained

Hence, it is one of the natural outcomes of deep internal work.

Its most common expression is resilience.

And its outcome is the life you live, both how you perceive it and what experiences are invited.

Love

There’s a lot to explore here. Unfortunately, it’s an area I haven’t consciously explored and is quite difficult for me to write about.

So, the only thing I’ll say is self love.

Actually, I can write an interpretation at least — Love is the depth of relationship shared within self and reality.

Evidence

When experiences that redefines what is normal become a norm, the subconscious structures restricting the sense of deservedness come into consistent view for resolution.

When these experiences are integrated, the sense of deservedness has no choice but to adjust.

It’s because of this that the idea of outworking your limits still holds some level of truth.

And why sub users are heavily encouraged to take action.

Excellent effort breeds excellent evidence of multiple forms.

The subs here use all three aspects at varying depths, with the most intense ones going in-depth on one or two aspects. E.g

  • Khan🙌 — technically the goat on faith (why it often feels spiritual) and evidence.
  • Alchemist — heavy on faith and evidence
  • Love bomb — heavy on love, the faith and evidence are natural outcomes.
  • Black titles — extremely heavy on evidence, the faith is heavy, but mostly used as a way to synthesize the evidence.
  • Recognition titles — heavy on love and faith

Shit, didn’t know the post already sent when I was halfway through it😂

I like this. Its a pure expression of living in the end state.

I’m glad you brought this up! My thought is the state in which we say affirmations influences the kickback/resistance we experience - specifically if we’re in an anxious or alert high-beta state vs. a calmer alpha/drowsy theta state.

When our conscious mind (gatekeeper) is watchful, our minds produce a “no we’re not {new belief} because of {old conflicting experience}.” Affirming when the gatekeeper is active reinforces the conflicting, less beneficial belief and feeling state.

This is the principle that subliminals work via bypassing the conscious mind. But we can leverage the times when our brains and minds are more suggestible for affirmations as well (when the conscious scanning is lessened or turned off) - i.e. the relaxed alpha and theta states.

Lasting change requires both conscious and subconscious agreement, which is why I like pairing subs with affirming, particularly when I am relaxed or after/during meditation.

But there are other ways to induce a better alpha:beta wave ratio, like drinking green tea or taking L-Theanine (one of the components in green tea) or simply closing your eyes. Affirming during those times will smooth the resistance response.

It can also be beneficial to affirm in steps, with things that are in the current realm of believing. For example, “I am a multibillionare” vs. “I find new ways to make money” could eventually lead to the same outcome, but one is much easier to initially accept while in our default (as adults) beta wave waking state.

Thanks for sharing this paper as well.

The authors mentioned the following: “we argued earlier that positive self-statements may remind people that they are not measuring up to important standards,” which aligns with what I said above.

I’ll see if I can find any follow-up studies done in a more relaxed/drowsy setting than their experimental design (which would naturally enforce an alert beta state) since there was no reference to periods where one would be naturally more relaxed or suggestible.

You have a much more expansive model

All excellent ways to trigger OCD tendencies. Ask me how I know lol

Thanks, it really resonates with me

The idea of just reframing thoughts to complete opposite doesn’t gel with me, though I now understand the reasoning for such techniques after reading explanations here

To be honest I never really bothered with reframing thoughts but I guess I should start doing it

Thought I’d share this. Fire’s tip for getting the most out of manifestation modules:
