This is the thread so we stop clogging up the sresm boy thread. I dunno I’ll add a proper description later.
Some recent theories suggest that being “Delu” is an effective technique as you’re dismissing the physical circumstances holding you back and embracing your inner reality. Would work great with Minds Eye tbh.
Note: I’m not an expert, I’m just relaying concepts in the way I understand them.
Focusing on the end result is what ultimately manifests the desired outcome. Byy focusing on “I’m progressing” you can easily get stuck in a hamster wheel of progress and make little momentum towards your actual goals.
I vote for being delusional going out. And afterwards, going all ” what went well what didn’t”. When it’s game time, it’s game time. When it’s practice, it’s practice.
I like having delulu confidence. Like game face on baby
How does someone go delulu confidence? I need this
Fake it til you make it. Check out some videos from YouTuber Sammy Igrammy. She’s a big proponent of delulu confidence and manifestation
100%. (Also Sammy is a great recommendation)
I’m a huge proponent of ‘delulu’ thinking. For every single major innovation that we use today there were countless people who deemed it impossible, ridiculous, or a waste of time.
The people who go beyond and push boundaries for greatness are always operating under what is considered delusional.
Everyone should take that philosophy and apply it to their lives, especially in the areas that require more encouragement or effort.
I tried to watch Sammy. Something is seriously off about her, she gives me bad vibes. Like I can totally be wrong, but she’s a no for me.
Her personality can definitely be polarizing, but that aside, there is certainly insight in what she says.
Our thoughts shape reality via impressing the subconscious mind, and the people who affirm in the ways she recommends have the desired changes to back it up. Regardless of who you hear it from (her or another content creator or author) keep putting your thoughts to good use for yourself.
I guess I don’t really understand how anyone does it. I used to do stuff like trying to affirm and being positive and all that, but it made me feel worse. My mind would give me ALL the emotions of the exact opposite. I found a study that actually tested that exact thing. I think being aware of what you tell yourself is really important but in some cases you’re worse off.
That’s why I run these subs pretty much and stay away from the LOA manifesting stuff because it gets victim blamey after a while and toxic
Significantly more productive.
That instinct is coming directly from your stack:
It means the subliminals are working on your mindset to help you become more financially successful.
Good job.
The thing that 95% of people don’t know about affirmations, reframing, etc… is that it doesn’t absolve you of processing or discomfort.
For example: Let’s say that Joe can’t flirt with a woman to save his life. His internal dialogue is “I’m terrible at this”. He starts affirming “I am amazing at flirting with women”. He rewrites the script, right. Cool.
You’re not rewriting a “script” like it’s a screenplay. You’re rewriting your nervous system, identity, subconscious beliefs, etc to a baseline that aligns with whatever you reframed your thoughts to. That takes time, and it takes process… which means reconciliation, willingness, etc. The whole nine yards and then some. What people like to do is jump from modality to modality, to strategy to strategy, to avoid doing any of the internal work. Looking for different ways to bypass process, lol.
If I have a deep scarcity upbringing, no foundation, and a list of subconscious fears longer than an 8 year old’s Christmas wishlist… acting like a millionaire and internally familiarizing (that’s a keyword) my baseline with that desired reality, is going to set off every protective mechanism that’s preventing me from embodying that fully now. There are no bypass to these things.
If someone has 3 past toxic relationships, a list of embarrassing and borderline traumatic rejections, and no intrinsic self-worth in relationship to women due to years of consuming black pill content on the internet… then sure, reframing immediate, surfacing thought patterns is a start. But if the whole arrangement of their internal framework is embodying sexual scarcity and failure in romantic relationships - at some point, they have to do real work. Reframing, visualizing affirmations, and all that jazz will eventually snowball into the processing required for embodiment. That’s what these manifestation gurus don’t talk about - they’re selling people an incredibly watered down and glamorized version of mechanisms that are void of the darker reality behind change - such as nervous systems, shadow work, emotional processing, identity work, uncertainty, facing things about yourself, taking action outside of your comfort zone, etc.
When you see people apply those techniques (reframing, affirmations, etc) with success it’s because of 2 things:
- Their internal framework (beliefs, identity, etc) are already aligned with what they’re reframing to
- They do the internal work (processing) of what they’re reframing to
So it depends on what your goals are. If they’re big goals that are far out from your internal framework, which is mostly the case for people who lean idealistic and dreaming big - then you can’t bypass process, you have to master it. If it was so easy as just reframing, controlling what goes into your mind, using affirmations, so forth (insert whichever base level modality)… then everyone and their mother would be rich, healthy, and sexually abundant.
Of course it’s simple…
but it isn’t easy & everyone won’t do it
Processing is a good & overlooked distinction
It’s also often the overvaluing all these goals
They overload & stress the nervous system
They don’t define the real you
