Ok, Saint. The Renaissance is upon us, and you’re next up to bat. Can you go into any detail on how New RM will produce creativity in a new and novel way?
Too difficult to explain in a post like this. I’ll give a hint – think about how Beyond Limitless works by helping the individual see across different aspects of life and reality and then synergize those insights into a unique offering.

No idea how far along this is.
But the current rabbit hole I am feels somewhat related to RM. Expertise acceleration, mental models, and cognitive skills.
In short:

What makes experts better or fundamentally different than regular practitioners?

Can you actually extract and learn “this” from them?

How do you improve your internal mental models to speed up expertise? (i.e., How do you upgrade the pathways you use to orient and solve problems faster/better?)

Can you take this mental wiring from Area 1 and transfer it to Area 2?
In broad strokes, yes you can—though transfer is tricky.
If you want resources without reading an essay: look up Cedric Chin (commoncog.com) and Gary Klein (Cognitive Task Analysis / Naturalistic Decision Making).
The rest is too spread out for a single source, but the gist is:
Experts look at situations with a completely different perceptual filter, and you can teach people to see through that filter.
This is basically what Warren Buffett did with Katharine Graham. It’s also how top-tier 1-on-1 mentorship works through case studies:
You analyze a problem (or a company), make a thesis, and get ripped apart by your mentor for ignoring XYZ while fixating on ABC. Over time, you learn why XYZ actually matters. You start seeing the world through new glasses. Your brain adopts a new pathway for breaking down the problem.
(The catch: your mentor actually needs to be competent. If they aren’t, you’re just wearing broken glasses and learning to misread the cues.)
What about far transfer?
Cognitive science usually says far transfer is nearly impossible because expertise is domain-specific. But when people do pull it off, it usually comes down to moving between vertical abstraction and horizontal connections.

Fixing a pipe and fixing electrical wiring are both physical, hands-on tasks—horizontal to each other at the same level of abstraction.

Marketing lives at a much higher level of abstraction (abstract strategy vs. physical wrench-turning).
Yet you can use a “funnel” model across all of them. The funnel is an abstract concept: in plumbing, it’s volume/flow; in electrical, it’s wire gauge and amp throughput (overload the funnel and the house burns down); in marketing, it’s lead conversion. The skill isn’t just knowing the model, but having the judgment to know when that abstraction fits and when it breaks.
While this drifts into the edge of Raikov / Limitless territory, it’s fascinating and doesn’t feel that distant from RM either.
The hardest part seems to be: How do you develop the cognitive flexibility to avoid treating every problem with the same hammer? That’s where a polymath actually shines—having the abstraction capability to borrow the right frame from one domain and map it cleanly to another.

I think, at times, that Renaissance Man may be crucially important for me.
The Inner, Meaning, Ontological, ‘Spiritual’ side of life has always come more easily to me than other parts of life. I’ve had numerous humbling learnings around this throughout life. And I’m grateful for what I’ve experienced.
An ongoing ‘challenge’ is to bridge the divide between Inner and Outer. To find ways of protecting, cultivating, and harnessing that root of BEING in the form of expressions in the world. I know where my deepest allegiances lay, but that does not mean there is anything wrong with being expressive and productive in the world.
So far, part of the approach has been Ecstasy of Gold and Mogul with a WHOLE LOT of conscious guidance. It’s slow going but growth continually happens. It seems, sometimes, that there might be a program that could meet me closer to where I am. Fledgling, beginning expression in the world on top of a solid foundation of inner growth.
Like an intuitive or ‘right-brained’ Emperor or Emperor Reforged. Embodying a calm confidence in one’s iconoclasm. Not struggling desperately to prove oneself or one’s worth. Just a simple, grounded willingness to take seriously one’s own ideas, experiences, and dreams.
I’m an INFP. The Introverted Feeling corresponds to the ‘spiritual’ ontological foundation: Revelation of Spirit, Alchemist, Alchemist Royal.
But the other side of the INFP, the strategy for navigation of the world is Extraverted Intuition. Seeing patterns, connections, creative syntheses and possibilities. Vision Quest and Vision Expression.
Is this the Renaissance?

@SaintSovereign Have you decided whether New RM will be a single or 2 stager? Planning a long term stack, but it’ll look very different based on your answer.

Whatever is in Emperor Reforged, would love to have some or all of that along with Beyond Limitless and Mind’s Eye.
Also the ability to read people, situations and plan strategically.

Why are you against 2 stages though? that is an amazing feature… and you could always stack them.
@SaintSovereign never read this thread before now, but suddenly got a strong ping to go through it and make a suggestion immediately. So here’s mine and I hope this isn’t late.
Specialization
With the specificity with which you guys have been creating subs, and, the still increasing amount of offerings, I think it’s alright to take this one as niche as possible I.e Embracing Life as Grand Art
Now, I’m not saying this has to be a “revelation” style sub, but think of something like BL. So fundamental and very unique, which turns out to have quite a lot of virtues and adaptability. An underlying filter of being/perception that builds the foundation.
Not another do it all sub that just happens to be designed with career artists in mind. Renaissance men/women/people exist in all fields of life, not just specifically in the arts 
Why?
Quite a bit of what has been mentioned in this thread can either take its own form through the unique concept of RM (two suggestions in the next tab) OR be cultivated through stacking (I mean that’s why there’s so many offerings available right?).
- This ties into the nature of the new ZPU, giving users more agency for conscious guidance.
- This will help users create better stacks/use case regardless of whether they’re an artist looking for deep focus, an entrepreneur trying to expand their perceptive filter or even a regular person just looking for a different experience.
*Also with specialized RM subs like VIBES (which I’m guessing there will be more) that are multistaged having the full set of skills (fame, monetization, skill work, sensory development) I don’t think it’s necessary in RM. Stack and consciously guide your sub use.
Feature suggestions
A Philosophy of Passion
Crafting a personal philosophy through deep exploration of your world and what passion and freedom means to you. And living through it. Think of a bridge between Philosophies for the Everyday from BL and The Final Authority from GLM.
If there’s a framework for building your life as an artist around, most of the other issues that come with being an artist can be dissolved—fame, popularity, losing yourself to your art, inflexibility, frame, resilience, freedom, resonance and even certainty/confidence in actions.
This can look like resilience and ease in expression from knowing who you are (nervous system scripting can even come in here). Experiences/encounters that deeply move you (resonance, certainty and opportunity recognition etc)
There’s even more applications I can think of.
The Paradox of Expression
This lends to Expression and Execution. Think of a bridge between Wanted Execution of WANTED and The Wonder is Practical of BL
- Makes it easier to express your art in whatever form, stage or whatever scale.
- Along with translation to any other field of life.
- Shifts it from becoming a reforged title.
- And I’m guessing this will handle quite a bit of inaction and creativity/style (inspired vs learned dichotomy) recon.
In creativity, this can look like feeling your world fully, building a framework vision based on what you already have (knowledge, experience, emotions, people etc) and when required move into your external reality to find inspiration. Or flipping the process the other way around.
I’m execution, this can look like a seamless transition between focused exploration/refinement of craft/self and periods of external expansion (communication, empathy, collaboration, leadership, public activities etc)
EDIT: On Second thoughts, this looks like a sub that might give me quite a bit of recon.
However, I gotta advocate for the non career artists too😮💨

To answer these questions, practically
Creativity is awareness both to the inner world and the outer. This includes emotions, logic, visuals, patterns, sounds, memory etc.
The reason why I said this is that there is actually quite a bit of deep modeling/sampling/cross-referencing done in the subconscious and we receive “pings” of the next likely thing that matches an intended expression.
The interesting part is that the “intended expression” also updates as if that in itself is also sampled by the subconscious mind. And can also be empty, then the subconscious throws darts till it finds a pattern, then uses that pattern as a sort of intended expression, that’s the point where we step into uncharted territory.
You can see this same thing play out both in whatever form of experimentation (free flow or framework) OR inspiration (subconscious structures are triggered—>associated pings arise—>then get refined—>then expressed in one form —>cycle continues).
Source of Creativity?
There’s no source.
Better stilll, how do people create conclusions?
Frame of perception—>experience—>inference—>frame of perception
Still the same subconscious sampling, as long as there’s something to synthesize, there’s a source of creativity. Maybe unless we collapse back into a singularity, then I don’t know.
@SaintSovereign The actual question I’d like to ask is about the depth of creativity? What makes something impactful, vivid, rich or even riveting?
Hope this makes it into New RM even though it’s describing RM Black.
