I’ve been pondering this issue for a while because this sub means a lot to me, and I have a question for you:
Would E:CC achieve deeper results per domain if structured as linear stages, or does simultaneous processing of wealth, power, and legacy create synergistic effects that a single stage captures better than stages could?
Ifffff it did go the multi stage direction, my request would be that one of those stages is focused on sales, networking, and marketing skills, to build up Capitol, and that it was kept in the traditional format of multi-stages where stage 4 is essentially the complete title with all of the stages included, just requiring some preparation work with the other titles for best results.
Also, I would prefer no healing in HOM, there are plenty of wealth subs for that, and rather the first stage be a tool for building starting Capitol.
@SaintSovereign definitely open to your ideas on a multi-stage.
@Chase, what so you mean with sales? I think there is a difference here. I am not interested in sales in the usual sense of chasing or convincing. What I want is the Medici approach building such trust, value and presence that people naturally want to work with you. That is not selling. That is attraction through influence though…

Offering products or services in exchange for money, however you want to accomplish that whether it’s through influence, presence, word of mouth, or influence is up to you

In the past, HOM worked extremely well for accomplishing that goal the way you described, rapport, presence, attracting the right people who are ready, able, and willing to buy.

It seems the biggest discussion point is the desire to be able to update past customs. Customers who have built customs around HoM want to be able to update them without having to buy customs for multiple stages, or have to decide what stage to use. This is completely understandable. They are asking for the same experience as before, since they received good results on a single stage version.

Thanks Niles. That makes sense. What you describe is what I meant with the Medici approach. Less selling, more natural alignment of value.
Although I liked my idea of a multi-stager, I have changed my vote to a single stage.
I think it would be better for the customer to not be bombarded by more choice with the stages from the main title and with customs.
For the customs store, less options is easier for the customer and I assume easier for the tech backend/behind the scenes.

The first stages are to build the foundation needed to execute the “final stage”. This final stage would be the equivalent of today’s HoM, and that’d go to most people’s custom. But I then also don’t really see that we need 4 stages. Perhaps its enough with 2?
Edit: I voted for multi-stage since it’s a sub with massive goals. If the “final stage” (if that’s 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th doesn’t really matter too much imo) should be the “equivalent” of today’s HoM (for ease of use in customs etc).
Going ahead with a multi-stager idea-wise here are initial thoughts, might write another post later
Just because it’s a multi stage doesn’t mean the first stage must be healing or the last stage must be all of the three stages combined.
Each stage can focus on a major aspect of HoM and this way you can delve deeper into the concept and achieve greater results with more foucs.
For example a stage for trading and commerce, a stage for building business relationships, I don’t know this are just examples but you get me.
It should be multi stage imo and the ones who got a custom should be offered the most ‘complete’ stage as the upgrade

But you mentioned a stage in crown and Specifically for sales and networking and marketing and such… that’s essentially stage two of ecstasy of gold.
Not that it wouldn’t express differently in ecstasy of gold compared to crown and capital… but I’m quite satisfied with the idea that if I want to triple down on sales and marketing and networking to a level that is required by a multi stager, that I can run ecstasy of gold, and that if I want an all in one experience that helps me elevate every area of my finances in balance, that I run a crown and capital.
That also allows me to stack crown, and ecstasy together… crown for the archetype and special skills… ecstasy of gold for the extra emphasis on advanced customer desires
@SaintSovereign who says that a multi stager needs to be a four stage subliminal though… what if crown and Were two stages… the first stage being preparation for the second, and both titles complete in their own right
The first stage can be lighter, but still a complete representation of house of Medici,
I imagine the first stage of a two stage subliminal would be perfect for people who want fast results, like people who are in Sales, and for people who have a dense stack but want the crown and capital feel
It’s also good preparation for the people who are patient enough to run that for an extended period of time before starting stage two
Stage two can go into the topics a lot more deeply, and also cover the topics that don’t make sense to cover at stage one, like how to manage millions of dollars, manage a team, etc.
I know Khan ST4 has some additional scripting not found in the other three stages. I’m imagining stage two of crown in capital to be like stage four of Khan, complete, and then even more bold
Honestly, subtitles are just too incomplete as individual multi stagers for me to run the first three stages before leading up to the fourth stage. But I would run just about any multi stage or any single stage as a two title or even three title multistage, if each stage was complete in itself, but the game progressively more and more advanced… kind of like how wanted and wanted black are in their present versions
Also just wanted to share my experience the first time I ever ran house of Medici… I was new to subliminals in general… and this was Qv2 days
It completely kicked my ass, I really wasn’t ready for it
And that’s OK.
After a long long run of ascended Mogul, house of Medici became my all-time favourite title.
Just because it’s a single stage title, (or a 2-stage title 
) doesn’t mean it needs to be acceptable for beginners… just like how we currently don’t consider revelation of wealth or stark black necessarily good for beginners

I voted for the single stage upgrade. As much as I love the idea of a multi-stage Medici, to me, that’s best done as a completely different product.
I would love to see the first 4-stage Emperor product, especially if it’s inspired by Medici. It would be great to have a four stage product that delved into the various archetypes and beliefs necessary (ex. Founder, Builder, Capital Allocation Manager, Leadership and Human Resources, Wealth Planning, Risk Management, Building a Dream Team, etc).
I love many of the ideas shared above and recommendations for the product and I don’t envy you guys for having to sift through and pick the ideas that best fit the final product.
