@Fire I have to say I agree with this.
Stylistically, the current system looks very attractive, but I do find it clunky to use (on a MacBook Pro, for the record), not as smooth a UI as it could be, and I think a simple drop-down menu system (or similar) would make it much easier to use.
I guess it would also make it easier for you guys to implement functionality such that users can select multiple titles for a stack, or combinations of customs for a stack (which is something I’d love to see!) and get feedback both on the individual combos and additional feedback on how they’d perform together in a stack or as a set of customs within a stack.
Regardless, it’s still a great new option that we didn’t have previously, so I appreciate all the hard work!
Here, I began to intuitively realize that most people couldn’t handle what they were asking for and threw out the idea that it should be multistage. Scroll down on that thread, look at how many people wanted a single stage. I even held a poll here:
The results were overwhelmingly in favor of a single stage. I should’ve trusted my instincts, since we’ve been doing this for nearly a decade now but I was hopeful that the Adaptive Scripting would help deal with it. For most people, it did. Many are benefitting greatly from it.
Adding a four stage variant is not some admission of C&C being flawed or being a bad upgrade. We created what was asked for, and if there is a mistake, it was us not trusting our instincts in favor of trying to achieve complete consensus. Thus, we are going back and doing what we originally intuited.
Next time our instincts are firing off at us, we will not ignore that. ASBR doesn’t need a multistage and Khan doesn’t need a single stage version.
People asking Khan as a single stage must have never ran it.
Maybe they’re looking for a single stage somehow with dominance and highly sexual. Another archétype.
That is probably a fair assessment honestly lol… There is too much in Khan for it to be an actual signle stage … now i think it could be a duo stage lol stage 1 the break you down to hell stage and stage 2(2+3+bits of 4 lol)… At that point your mind would be overwhelmed trying to do stage 2 after stage 1 … it would just be overload i think …
It should arrive next week, possibly with Health Protocol. We have the systems in place where we feel comfortable dropping and supporting multiple titles without people waiting a month for a response from support or dealing with very late customs.
It’s why we’ve avoided upgrading the big titles (like Ascension) and the such. We could no longer tolerate those overly long waiting times.
Now that things are moving smoothly, we’re good with proceeding ahead.
