i got a very clear pre-sult of Mind’s Eye

I like viktor’s presults model btw. You hear about a sub’s effects, and then scripting from other subs you’ve listened to help you get those results.

I had made a request to make sure Mind’s Eye has training to help people develop visual abilities if they have aphantasia (the scientific term for inability to visualize)

then i watched a video on aphantasia (it was my first time ever digging into the topic)

then I had a conversation with a friend and it got onto the topic of aphantasia

then I was telling him all about how when I was a young child, I (according to my mom) had the MOST vivid visual imagination she had ever seen. I could spend a 12 hour cross-country car ride self-entertaining myself by visiting it, and whenever they asked me what I was doing I would always explain my visual imagination in great detail, I was in space, or I was talking to 7 ninjas, or whatever, I don’t know what 2 year old’s think about and I don’t personally remember this in the slightest.

To make a long story short, at 2 years old, I realized that nobody else had that intense visual imagination, I thought there was something wrong with me, and stopped talking about that world completely. I never mentioned it again, and if I was asked about it, I wouldn’t acknowledge it existed or ever had.

The presult was remembering that in the context of aphantasia and realizing that aphantasia wasn’t something I was born with but something I had self-imposed as a trauma response.

Now, I’m looking for a hypnotherapist to see if they can help me remember/access that world again.

We’ve been suspected this as well. It’s almost a form of conscious guidance.

I didn’t realize you had ADHD. You’re a talented man who isn’t afraid to embrace his imperfections.

Is there a risk with scripting not to focus on negative images have an inadvertent effect of you focussing on them because of its emphasis not to? I’ve heard the subconscious can’t differentiate between what it’s being asked not to imagine or think of when it hears those messages. Is there a truth to that?

Might want to re-post this question on the new Mind’s Eye thread.
