The transition between images is ridiculously smooth, seamless and speedy. There is no mental strain when moving through the memories or visuals, it’s like debug mode in video games where you are unlocked from the constraints of the character and could fly all around the map and into the walls and concretes to the extremities of the map (think OG counter-strike).
I’ve used Mind’s Eye some days ago before doing 7 minute loop of this one; and the new one is even more natural and lighter. It feels less mentally consumptive. I can also feel this “line” extending from where the third eye to the back of the brain, between the two hemispheres, like a bridge. Didn’t feel it this prominent before. Switching that 3rd eye flick – direction energy to the visual forming faculties-- is as natural as blinking.
As an exercise, I try to remember things that crossed my attention throughout the day, kinda like rewinding a video of the day. I would usually find it mentally straining. Initially, it was extremely costly, like spending a large portion of my MP just to use the minds eye, to continue upon the video game metaphor, like spending 60 MP to cast a basic level one Cure. It goes easier and less costly after the ZP version; but this one feels like Cure Is almost free of charge and I could cast Curaja pretty soon. Heck, even the cast time is almost instant. I went through my whole day and it was one long day, where I had to go through multiple cities and used 7 taxi cabs; I would usually feel the idea of going through my day mentally to be tedious because of the “playback” speed is the mental lens. But with this one, the ride is exceptionally easy and fluid; I’m even able to go back some days and conjure up the images of random places I’ve been through; including an airplane ride from a couple of weeks ago, and others from years ago.
This degree of vividness and potentiality brings up some questions, but I suppose this isn’t the place for those.
Well done; you two never fail to astonish us.
