Ordered on Monday, 3rd November. Itā€™s been 5 business days, so Iā€™m pinging here.

I have a presentation this Monday, and I was expecting the custom order to arrive by Friday evening (5 business days).

Could you please check, @AnswerGroup ?

AFAIK, business-technically, they start processing an order the next business day after the order has been placed. I also ordered 2 customs on Monday, 3rd November, but havenā€™t got them yet.

Then itā€™s due EOD the following Monday.

EOD Tuesday is one business day, so EOD Friday is four business days. EOD Monday is five business days.

But that date is not guaranteed, my last few customs have taken 6-7 business days, so youā€™ll most likely get it middle of the week.

If you want a guaranteed delivery date then place an Express order and youā€™ll have it by midnight EST the next day.

I understand, but Monday from my time zone, is 12 hours ahead of California time. Keeping that in mind, I had placed the order.

Your timezone isnā€™t relevant, it goes by SC timezone. Always has.

Monday in his timezone by the time of placing the order was Sunday in SCā€™s timezone. Thatā€™s what he meant.

SC is on the East coast not California, to my understanding. Either way that 5 days isnā€™t guaranteed.

I checked. Technically, itā€™s due tomorrow. Iā€™m not sure if Q-Engineer is processing orders today or not ā€“ they get to choose whether they work weekends.

I understand. I was not expecting it to be a guaranteed delivery anyway. Just wanted to ping here as it had been 5 days, thatā€™s all.

P.S. W.r.t East Cost, it is still ~10 hours. I always do my calculations before pinging here.

Yeah I get it, the biggest issue here is the expectation set when SC says itā€™ll take 3-5 business days, so when it isnā€™t delivered by then people start to worry something has gone wrong.

I think better communication in this case would help a lot by confirming the custom is in the queue and just running a bit late.
