I have received someone else’s custom– order 30650.

For privacy reasons, I won’t mention the name.

It did not follow with the “order is now complete,” so nothing compromised there.

I’ve gone ahead and deleted it. I received mine just prior, and that looks fine.

Just posting this in case the person never got theirs.

Hi everyone, are all customs getting delayed or it’s just me? Also no reply from support either for some reason.

Following up on this. I can also create a support ticket. This is the second time I’ve posted on this thread with no response, so not sure if this is still the best protocol or maybe got missed. (My previous custom inquiry was left unresponded too, and the sub came later)

I’m not sure what the problem is? I saw your post yesterday and asked Q-Engineer to expedite it and refund the express charge, which – to my understanding – occurred yesterday? You received both, right?

3-5 business days, not including weekends. Again, sometimes Q-Engineer works weekends, sometimes they do not. When was your order placed?

Hey Saint, not an issue, just was not aware anything had happened, as I have not received the custom on my end yet. I can check the refund shortly.

So you haven’t received the email for the custom? PM me the order number and I’ll grab the link ASAP.

One was placed on Nov 14 and the other on Nov 15. I had also requested a module swap for one of the customs - I sent in a ticket. Could you also go through that? Again, sorry for putting this burden on you.

Because your account name, the name you put into the custom and email all has different names. Q-Engineer forgot to officially put it on hold.

I need your order numbers, so I can quickly fix this. For future reference, everyone – there are no module swaps after ordering. Please ensure that you have chosen the correct modules. It’s quite difficult to shut down the semi-automated process, fix this and and put it back into the queue. I will try to get the swap done ASAP.

Thank you but there is no need. I have received the customs already so it’s anyway too late for that.

Is this a new feature to check name-embedded custom name with email? I suggest you to disable it as soon as possible, there are not many email with the real name in it.

Also, this is my 2nd named-embedded custom and this problem occurs. The first named-embedded custom with the same name got no issue.

It does not mean that your real name must be in the email, just that your qstore account first name must match the name you request to embed in the custom.

This is a security and safety feature to prevent customs being made for other people, as that is not permitted. (Not that I assume you are).

This has always been the policy. For us to process the custom, it needs to match. After the order is delivered, you may remove the name from your account.
