That’s because it’s hard to explain. The unfolding process itself defies definition. It’s an experience in which language fails, since we will all experience it so drastically different. The ancients used allegory to impart this knowledge, but even then, deciphering what they mean can fail if the individual hasn’t consciously developed their spiritual life enough to understand it. They also employed symbology to impart meaning, because your mind picks up on the symbology subconsciously even if you don’t consciously realize what you’re looking at.
What RoS attempts to do is to make that subconscious knowledge and insight subject to conscious observation. The issue is, without a honed and trained mind, depending on how far you go, you become very ungrounded and hyper spiritual to the point of delusion. You see this occurring a lot with the new age community, whose ideas are noble, but often impractical and ends up becoming a hinderance to true spiritual growth.
This is where RoM comes in. It’s naturally grounding, since it functions mostly in the realm of the intellect, and not the subconscious part of the self (since that’s the part that feels the most “spiritual”).
So, yes it can “boost” any alchemical practice in the sense that you’ll begin to understand the deep processes of why you’re doing those practices and how they work within you. RoM will ground that knowledge to make it actionable.
