It’s with LBFH instead of LB, but it took me around 4 cycles to truly understand and live it. it’s a hard concept to grasp if you’re unfamiliar with it.
I used to. Nothing officially, I just followed the book. It had some benefits and some drawbacks. Benefits, most relaxed I’ve been after sessions. Drawbacks, very easy to overdo it and not realize it. I had to stop using it because it was too direct for me. I found it left me very raw and open afterwards, more sensitive, so I’d snap back into trauma patterns like a rubber band. I’ve since learned that these purely physical approaches don’t work for me because it’s a type of bypassing and forcing changes for me.
However I have heard good things about it. Just seemed like a mixed bag to me. It didn’t sit right for me, maybe I needed a professional to guide me.
Thanks for explaining your experience. I was doing it at night, tremoring for 3-5 minutes after the exercises, or until the shaking felt somewhat completed.
Like you, I felt relaxed afterwards and slept very well. Sometimes the next day I felt more emotional, like I was processing my feelings more.
It’s an interesting practice. I kind of became lazy and have not done it for a week or more. It feels like the type of thing that would take years to reap real benefits from and I’m not sure I am motivated or committed enough to see it through for that length of time.
Reading through the sales page again, I feel like Qui-gon Jinn embodies the “Sanguine archetype.”
Yesterday I ran 15 min Sanguine (second cycle) along with 1 min Phoenix.
Done some gratitude and mindset work before going to sleep. Today I woke up with great mood, despite again sleeping not that much. I was happy all morning, appreciating things around me, nature beauty, I was really positive during my way to work which almost never happen. Overall, I felt great better part of the day.
Also, it seems that Sanguine is helping my massively regarding my brakeup of long term relationship. It makes me much more chill about it and generally optimistic about the future.
Ran this for 15 minutes after Primal (both for the first time, the new versions at least), and felt a little anxiety off and on during Primal, but quickly felt calm and chill and even…kinda horny?..while running Sanguine o.0 then went into my backyard and was just smiling, kinda giggling, and enjoying all the nature and peace around me.
Edit: yeah, I think this is my stack right here. Can’t tell whether it’s Primal or Sanguine or both, but yeah, this is the sh*t. Feel good, relaxed, non-reactive, literally more like Qui-gon Jinn like I said lol (not a huge Star Wars fan but I just feel he embodies the Sanguine archetype). Just from one loop I realize that being relaxed literally makes life feel richer. Like your senses are sharpened, you can smell more, see more, hear more, etc. You also forget things that upset you much faster, and they don’t upset you nearly as much. Like when you’re relaxed/in the moment, your focus just quickly shifts to whatever is happening next and you forget. I was going to add Love Bomb to the stack but now I’m thinking maybe I’ll just run these two, not sure yet. Oh, and I think it goes without saying: thank you subclub
Man! Ya’ll making this New Sanguine sound so good. I’m going to hold out for the new CWON though.
After a cycle on Sanguine, I can attest to its greatness. If you have a habit of stilling your mind, you’ll not encounter recon and it will feel lightweight in your stack. But the effects are nevertheless profound. I recently found myself completely relaxing myself in a public space, sprawled out on the floor as if I was on my own bed and enjoying it because I genuinely did not care how I would be perceived. This is not something I’d have done before. I was highly aware of my surroundings, I just let go of the desire to look a certain way in public. Dogs and cats come up to me a lot.
Does that take into account grace, or unmerited favor? If we all got what we deserved, then we might be doomed.
This is on an assumption that your negative behaviour doesn’t contribute to life itself at all. Without any “bad” in life you wouldn’t be aware of the “good”.
Your negative behaviour can trigger “good” in someone else. You might not be aware how you contribute to people around you but that doesn’t mean it still happens.
This polarity in life serves as a catalyst for a movement in consciousness. Ultimately you decide which way you wanna go…
When one is aware of this mechanic and conciously chooses where to go and how to “be” that person is the who takes responsibility for their own personal power.
What do you mean by that? I couldn’t catch exactly what you mean.
This is a very insightful answer, and resonates with me right now. I find it encouraging .
About the grace part, I mean to make room or allow for the divine blessings.
That can sometimes override the law of return and give us what we have not earned.
I hear what your saying, that the bad highlights the good and makes us more grateful for that.
Does that mean that we should do evil that good might come?
I think situations that are negative can be turned around for the good or be part of the grand scheme.
In general I think goodness and kindness inspires more of that than the other.
I don’t talk about much of this kind of stuff in this forum. But yeah I believe in Divine Grace.
It’s about choice both ways will lead you to enlightenment.
Doing evil and reaching enlightenment however will require you to be at the receiving and committing part both… So you can understand what “that” is! In it’s entirety.
You are not required on that path though, since many people are already doing it.It is no “should”…
If you prefer violent acts in your life you can “be” violent to others and the others will be violent on you too. It’s like stepping into a boxing ring, you should expect some punches to land on you too…
So choose what you like to be like.
Love, Peace, Serenity, Friendship… etc.
Violence, Jelousy, Hatred… etc.
A person might be a mixed pack of the above, but consciosly choosing one over other with your awareness you can evolve towards certain way.
Question for anyone using/has used the new Sanguine: do you feel like running it reduces recon caused by other titles?
Yes. I have experimented with it for short one-minute intervals at a time, usually up to five times spaced throughout the day.
Yes. Sanguine is the best choice when it comes to reducing recon caused by other titles.
Yes though I was running it with Primal and LB so not sure what was doing what.
Oh yes, it does. After two cycles of almost unbearable recon on Khan TB, I had the idea to add New Sanguine to the stack, and it made the third cycle much more pleasant for me. I find that Sanguine is an easy title to run(does not create additional recon for me at full loops) and is easy to take action on(just gotta meditate daily). However, don’t take my word for it, you got to experiment with these things yourself to find out how you personally react, as recon seems dependent on the difference between the sub’s stated goals and your current lived reality.
I’m sold, throwing this into my stack now.
Thanks everyone!
I am confident that you will find it to be quite pleasant.
