Not necessarily. This may be a natural “system” within the individual’s own mind that is beneficial to them rather than a flaw. Believe it or not, I am the same way – there are some titles that I am highly aligned with and will see immediate results. Others, not so much. The difference is, I don’t try to assume that it is a flaw and instead, look at what the recon or lack of results are trying to tell me. Forcing fast results can result in a “tower fall” kind of incident where I have attempted to progress faster than what I can naturally accept, internalize and resolve.
I like to use Qigong examples because it is quite prominent in my life, but I think of how others I know, including @Fire can do a 3-4 hour practice with ease and get nothing but potent results, but if I attempt to do the same, while I still get a sense of inner stillness, my energetic system feels fried and I become tired and moody – taking me directly out of the state I am attempt to create. If I force this, I will actually harm myself over time energetically and I now lack the energy to perform my daily tasks. It makes more sense to simply accept that my energetic constitution is different from others and to honor my own cycles, with the inner trust that I am still progressing in my own way rather than trying to adopt others.
While @Adi 's results may seem “slower” externally, internally there could be great growth that isn’t easily seen by anyone outside of him. But I note that he hasn’t complained as much about the phenomenon that he was experiencing before when using titles, indicating that even if it returns, some breakthrough has already occurred. Now, I’m not saying that this WILL occur, but it highly possible that soon, his flow factor will skyrocket because he employed patience and deep self-reflection to work through the issues rather than trying to force a fast result just to keep up with others. The majority of people reporting immediate results have already done a lot of inner work related to the themes of this title.
@JCDenton – who also exhibits an ability for deep self-reflection – reports that he feels that the anti-recon isn’t working well for him. However, he also noted that the themes of this title are difficult for him. So, while I observed the conversation and didn’t opine, I did so because from my perspective, he already identified the issue within the self and even better – externalized it. The externalization process always indicates that some inner issue has now been brought into conscious awareness for resolution. Sometimes this process feels like “one step forward, two steps back,” but now the individual is aware of the issue.
The goal is accelerated growth and allowing the conscious mind to act as a director of subconscious impulses. The subconscious can be wild, untamed, uncontrollable at times – and sometimes it feels that it’s SUPPOSED to do that until a much, much later point of self-development. It is the conscious mind that serves as the container and stabilizer of subconscious impulse. Impulse transforms into awareness, and through conscious effort, reshapes the impulse from wild and untamed and into liberated living. No longer are we looking at an individual who makes decisions and cannot even understand why, but rather someone who is in complete self-control, harmonizing both subconscious impulse and conscious awareness into unified self-development.
