All I know is the offering of gratitude in between each rite, and I also intuitively only use one inbreath and outbreath in between each rite to keep the flow going with rhythm and focused on breath. I have been practicing the rites every morning for the last 2 months (except this last week which has been challenging). It’s the simplest most profound routine anyone can incorporate, the most approachable form of ‘yoga practice’, at least to me.
