Clarifying Vision.
Spend time (actual clock time) working out where you want to go, and how you want to get there.
Writing those two lines took me 30 seconds. But practicing it has been taking me about 30 years.
But I notice that when I have a very clear and strong vision of how to get to where I want, other people will describe me as being ‘disciplined’, but it doesn’t feel like discipline to me. It just feels like what makes sense. When I’m cold, putting on a coat doesn’t feel like ‘discipline’.
You get a clear vision. But then, our memories are pretty short. So you’ll want to find fun ways to keep renewing your vision to keep it fresh.
