Holy freaking .... Minds eye is amazing

Perhaps Mind’s Eye Q+ can be so powerful that it takes you to 100% @Malkuth!

I think it may be quite particular @SubliminalUser.

Possibly not a case of simple skill or capacity development.

When I was around 19, I came across the ideas of Dawna Markova. She said that specific sensory modalities were associated with different altitudes of cognition. In other words, deep, unconscious processes were associated with a particular sense channel; subconscious, dream-like processes primarily with another channel, and conscious, problem-solving cognition with another channel.

She said that each individual had his/her own sense-cognition combinations.

That framework has stayed with me over the years, and I think it may explain how my mind uses visual-imagery-based cognition.

It’s there. But I access it more easily when I’m dreaming or if I’m in an altered state. It’s associated, in other words, with some deeper cognitive modes.

Don’t know if this is true for you @James, but even though I don’t really access much visual imagery when I’m consciously alert and awake, I do have visual experiences in my dreaming.

So that’s an example of what I’m talking about.

Mind’s Eye has helped me to access visual imagery by helping me to access altered states of consciousness.

But I’m not sure if I’m supposed to just switch visual cognition to be my conscious, alert style of processing. Because those other levels of cognition have their own special purposes and functions. Kind of like how it’s easier to do ‘automatic writing’, when you use your non-dominant hand. If both hands were equally skilled, automatic writing might become very difficult to do.

Something like that.

I didn’t really quite express the point as I intended, so I’m trying again:

You may find, @James, that you are capable of accessing a state of pure abstraction; accessing knowing, in other words, without the need for a sensory modality.

Do you think this might be the case? Think of your style of relating to concepts and working with ideas.

It’s entirely possible. I was told recently by a good friend of mine that she feels I am on the spectrum so the abstraction aspect definitely makes sense

Oh wow that’s cool. Good to know. Did it help with meditation/metta as well?

Honestly it seems to help with a lot of things. Like visualising people, Circulating sexual energy and more.

@James I challenge you not to visualize a PINK elephant !!

I bet you saw one !! so you can visualize

This is actually a profound point.

Whatever’s happening for us from moment to moment as we successfully receive, integrate, and respond to language (which you must be doing successfully in order to participate on an online forum) is revealing our natural styles of visualization and imagination.

It also means that Actions one could take to help Mind’s Eye to manifest could be to read a book, or listen to an audiobook, or even just to ask someone how their day was and then really listen to and try to understand the answer, or the story that they tell you in response.

There’s no need to get specifically fixated on visual acuity. Rather, you only need to attempt to experience what is being communicated as richly as possible. And, in the process, you’re developing (and coming to better understand) your own Mind’s Eye.

I had not thought of this point in over a year of working with this program.

Thank you, @RockyHandsome!

Your so welcome my old friend, I sincerely believe we all have visualisation skills. I think its a skill that is innate in all of us.

@James do not forget you are a King…The Great King a man who has arisen from the ashes to kick the world in the teeth. You have marked your foot prints in the hall of fame.

The Hall of Fame salutes the great John Cast.

JOHN CAST ftw!

That might work if my name was John and not James

Sorry James…the moment you engulfed yourself in the holy fire the Dragon King was born.

Dragon Reborn has changed you into a great man. I will now refer to as the Dragon King.

Friday, Black Adder and Lineer2 are relaxing in puerto rico chilling at the full moon party. Naked girls are dancing around them.

Suddenly a fireball shoots from the sky and hits the beach. There is a fire everywhere. A strange man with a long beard like Gandalf and scruffy hair walks out of the fire.

Black Adder: who is that scruffy man
Friday: Thats James the Dragon Master
Lineer2: wow James is at a whole new level

The naked ladies start screaming and running towards James they bow down to the Dragin King.

As James stands like an invincible warrior all the naked ladies scream “hail to our master”

So update: My dreams have become way more vivid and memorable. And also guided me to some modules to add to my next custom. Like the difference between dreaming and reality is becoming less.

Mind I ask what you mean by shadow work session? I’ve been planning to look into doing that.

Also my personal experience with Mind’s Eye is as you say, it’s subtle but my senses are noticeably clearer than before. I notice with practice it improves much faster too.

Shadow work is like a conscious Dragon Reborn session or something. You re integrate your inner child with love and attention. So your inner child don’t take the driving seat and run your life.

A great book to learn more is the completetion process by Teal Swan.

I’m like super late to the party, but this can be fixed with training. There’s a dude on YouTube that just started as an amature teaching aphantasia people to visualize, now he’s like running legit scientific research into visualization.
