Criminal series - United Kingdom was the best.
You dont have to watch the episodes in order as each episode is a complete case.
Its all filmed in one room and the cases are really bizarre so that you dont guess it until the end.

Mentalist is very good. The lead character and supporting cast are all very charismatic and likeable.
Very Sherlock Holmes with its own spin on it like almost every “genius detective” series.

And yeah the Spartacus TV series rocks! Loads of good sex and violence in addition to the drama and freedom-fighting.

That’s a very good observation.
Jane is a very friendly guy who is intelligent, clever, socially dominant, witty, and charming.
He likes drinking tea, loathes violence (even though he will make an exception to that one case), cares a lot about others especially his team and is a romantic.
Not the typical example of rough, tough and always brooding detectives working with the police in most crime shows (although he does have his brooding moments for good reason) but still very competent and gets the job done.
Like you said, he is very funny and almost childlike in his sense of play.

yeah he’s not dominant or superbly masculine yet he’s so charming and witty and intelligent that he’s still an absolute catch. I feel like stark hits that pretty close.

I do think he is dominant but it’s not the usual portrayal of dominance.
He is socially dominant and for that it helps to know when to be friendly and when to draw boundaries. And man, when he gets serious or angry, you know he draws his boundaries there.
He is remarkable and believable as innocent, mischievous, or down-right dangerous.

Id say its one of those better horror movies. Robotic doll. It has some cool scenes like one where the doll chases a boy running on all fours like a dog across the forest. Kind of cool.
I like the dynamic between Joker and Batman here
Joker is trying to prove Batman that every person can be evil if pushed far enough
Batman believes that each person has power to also be good if they choose to.
They kind of dance around this idea the whole movie.
At some point joker thinks batman is going to throw him off the building and kill him and as hes falling he is laughing ( thinking that hes proving a point to Batman by literally turning him into a killer ) but Batman stops the rope and you can see Jokers disappointment in his face despite the fact that it means he will live. Hed die to turn the Hero of Gotham evil and prove his point. Quite dramatic.
And the jokes were funny.
