Amsterdam is one of the worst movies I’ve seen all year, so boring. Monumental failure for such a good cast.
The Barbarian was an excellent movie, one of the best of the year. Keeps you on the edge of your seat for most of the movie, really good stuff.
Smile was alright, fun watch definitely. Lead actress hit it out of the park.
Halloween Ends was eh, made me want to rewatch the first one all over again.

Pearl was really good too. It’s a prequel to XX, and it is quite a showcase of a film.
Margin Call is one of my all time favorite flicks for anyone who is interested in the 2008 subprime collapse. The movie was so much better than the more commercial The Big Short, which I thought was a travesty.
A classic, and I’m going into the way back machine here, but it reminds me a lot of Emperor, is a flick called Sugar Hill starring Wesley Snipes.
It’s almost a follow-up in some ways to his breakout performance in New Jack City, where he’s playing a drug dealer again and has a cooked relationship with his brother. But the way the story unfolds is a marvel of cinema. Movie never got that much love on it’s release, however I can’t recommend it enough.

Same here. I used to think that Desperate Housewives was a girl tv show but when I ended up watching it I binged the whole series.
Will give it a go.

Half way through John Wick 4 and it is top of the line so far. We’re in intermission now, the other half will soon begin. I’M READY!!!
Edit: John Wick 4 was a wild ride and I enjoyed every last bit of it.

I’ve been watching the entire run of Schitt’s Creek. Before that I watched Shoresy and before that Letterkenny.
I guess I have really been getting into Canadian comedy.
