Not super deep, but if you want to watch a desperate man mess people up it’s a good watch. Brawl In Cell Block 99.
Definitely a film where the premise sounds meh, but the execution is good. It’s gritty and dark.

Personally, I liked UHF.
Not before 1980? Well, there goes Fail Safe, and Collosus: The Forbin Project, and the original Night of the Living Dead. Invasion of the Body Snatchers, original or the remake? Hmm, those were both before 1980.
How about Underworld? Or the remake of Dawn of the Dead? (I liked the original one better, but that was before 1980.)

lol man you crazy. You cannot be that old (maybe mid 30s?mid 40s?). The only really old movies I have watched were from the Universal horror series, then Jaws then straight 80s movies.
By the way I cant remember why I started watching the Universal horror movies but they are great.
I think there are a lot of cool movies that were made before the 1980s.
