Have you seen the original?
No, what’s it like?

Aight I’ll check it out soon
Didn’t realize this was a thing
Came to ask, is Dune: Prophecy good to watch?
Idiocracy (2006), hilarious movie. Saw it recently.
I haven’t seen that actually, lol. I’ll check it out later, thanks.
It could be little disturbing but interesting one
This movie ages like fine wine it’s amazing. Mike Judge is like comedic Nostradamus.
I just might have to steal this phrase from you - or at least borrow it for as long as I can remember it.
Too disturbing champ, roflmao.
If I have to be honest I didn’t watch the whole movie, Ive watched to the part guy got sick and jumped to the end( I had already spoilers)
He’s definitely a comedic genius. When I was watching it, I was like “this is fucking genius”. Not just the plot concept but how he creatively brought it all to life through satire. It’s end-level, masterclass type of shit.
I wouldn’t say he’s like a Nostradamus.
A society that unintentionally devolves over time as a plot point, isn’t necessarily original. It’s been done and explored before because we just like to think of crazy “what if” scenarios that are captivating. That doesn’t mean it’s prophetic. If aliens started invading earth right now… then everyone would elevate every alien invasion movie and call the writers prophets. That genre is based on exploration of a cool and hypothetical, universally intriguing concept - it’s just creativity. For me, the genius of this movie is all in the execution. He basically did a masterclass on that plot point and nailed it. Everything from the degradation of language and intelligence, world-building, attention to details, etc… all while being satirical and consistently hilarious. That’s not just comedic talent and skill, but a lot of things. this all my personal opinion, lol
Ok but you have to admit. Having a professional wrestler as the president in the movie. Remember when the Rock was entertaining the idea of running?
Rofl… alright, I’ll admit. Camacho’s first name is Dwayne too
Not a series, but a fascinating recounting of one of the most interesting scifi stories of the 20th century.
Not so interested about the transhumanist aspects of the story, but an interesting riddle and a parable on the limitations of technology by one of the greats, Isaac Asimov.
