I watched an animated movie called Soul (2020) last weekend with my girlfriend - blew both of our minds. Looks like a kid’s movie but probably more for adults. Highly recommended
I can highly recommend it as well. The film can open your eyes in many ways and offer a new perspective on life.
Only watched episode 1 so far I liked it
Easy going and very cool if you like cooking/food theme, a lot of heart to this movie
Watched this one recently. I wonder how many people watched the film when it came out and didn’t realize remote viewing was a legit thing in the US military.
Ballerina was a cool watch
Magician David Blaine
In Brazil, David Blaine seeks inspiration by immersing himself in his hosts’ vibrant energy, passion and spontaneity. The exceptional daredevils, artists, explorers and athletes he encounters unite to help him bring an audacious feat to life that’s lingered in his dreams for years
In the past couple of weeks, I watched Superman, Weapons, and Nobody 2. Weapons was boring, I didn’t like Nobody 2, and I literally took a nap during Superman. Last night I finished the first season of an anime on Netflix called Sakamoto Days, it was pretty fun and hilarious. I’ve been watching it in the background on a separate tab at work, lol.
After I watched the King Arthur movie, I realized how layered it is with Jungian archetypes. The Darklands sequence is a courageous descent into the unconscious mind, where he faces and integrates his buried trauma. The monsters embody his fears. It’s only after integrating his suppressed trauma, that he is finally able to wield the power of Excalibur, lol.
I really like how they merged these concepts, humor and action all into one product without going overboard.
The cuts, dialogue, pace in this alone had me lol
My guilty pleasure these days.
Haha, yeah I just finished it all the other day, they really cranked it up in part 2. I tried to multi-task some episodes and watch them in English dubbed but it completely butchered the quality. It’s actually wild to me how hard dubbing destroys the quality of Japanese animation. I had a debate with someone that it shouldn’t even exist because it’s destroying the art, lol.
I couldn’t agree more, it’s really unfortunate that it didn’t do well in the box office. Wikipedia says that there were planned sequels and it was supposed to the first in a franchise of six films.
Since Sakamoto ended, I’m watching this now Hunter x Hunter (TV Series 2011–2014) - IMDb, 3 episodes in. It’s okay so far - watchable lmao.
