Furkan's Journal

Relax dude, I started university at 25. That’s the great thing about university, you can start anytime.

What are you going to study?

When doing my undergraduate - I had a person who was 3 years older than me and a classmate who was 1 year younger than me.

It’s okay, don’t be hard on yourself, you’re here to learn and you won’t learn much by pressurising yourself. I pressurised myself a ton on GMAT and got nowhere, then when I calmed myself down - things went well really quickly. Enjoy the learning and make the connections.

I am reading about David bohm and his works, my mind confused with them, I will cut it out, it has no use for me now

When I read something about him they say he reached same conclusions with ancient wisdom by quantum physics etc, but to be sure that I have to read his books but I don’t have time, and first, to delve deep to this my mind should be clear and I should be relaxed.

It’s obvious that some new agers love to misuse and abuse quantum physics(science) to own their benefits, and some physicsts, science lovers so closed to spirituality, they don’t like to challenged. And label them as a bullshits

One of the best way to hide the information is disinformation; no, not to hide

Don’t want to hijack your journal again. Just wanted to share this from notes I made a few months ago on Maintaining Focus and Tackling Huge Workloads:

“There’s a number of steps that you want to break it down. Focus doesn’t happen from the first second, it takes a couple of seconds. What happens in 50 minutes is you get deeply engaged. After 50 minutes or even before 50 minutes, around 40 minutes mark, your brain starts to taper off and you want to switch and do something else. You become less efficient and it becomes harder to focus. Now, you might experience this when you’re trying to study for 3 hours straight. You might try to rely on caffeine. You can burn yourself out. There is an on period and after that there is a taper off period. 50/10 Chunk is technique you can use to tap into the normal rhythm of your brain. You start off with a timer and you start reading. Then you stay focused and try everything to stay focused. Then, when the Timer goes off, you stop reading and even if you can go longer, you don’t do it. We want to stay away from burnout. We do something light and then we come back to the task. After 60 minutes, you repeat the cycle again. To burn mental resources more efficiently. Think from the sense of studying Non-Stop, last few hours you’ll be burning inefficiently, you’re not being productive. You might only be able to study for 3 hours and then crash. Since this aligns with the natural rhythm, you’ll be able to study for 8-10 hours in a day.”

TLDR;

I was watching a video yesterday.
Is everything in our brain. All of we are seeing, are in the area of brain, rays converted to electric signals and interpreted in the brain, it goes for all the 5 physical senses. So, what is the real one? Even the image of my body is in my brain, I’m not in the room, the room is in my brain, so first how can I say all of this is not fake? All of this electric signals, information could have been uploaded by a computer, that connected to my brain

Also there’s a holographic universe theory.

But… Does researching and thinking these things have positive contribution to my life, now? No.
Is it urgent? No.

I will go to the gym now and I should pray. Also there is something I should write. To contemplate but later

Truth, Goodness, Beauty…

Ive been feeling feel tired recently. It’s like I shut down the system. I don’t want to do anything, i don’t want anything.

I’m tired of fighting. i can’t understand, maybe i should accept that I’m failure, that I’m gonna make it.
Why, why? i don’t want to even write anymore, I’m out of gas.

Maybe I’m complaining but if i got bad result again in the exam probably my life will be much worse cuz that time i have to choice a school.

i studied in a science highschool(they so called)so my area was science and math, in the exam i was going to answer in that area, but after pandemic i lost my interest to being computer engineer, so i changed my area to turkis-math, to going business in a top school. it was more risky but i was counting my abilities but the thing is i haven’t studied properly for all the years, I’m starting studies excited and hopeful in the beginning and then puff… it’s gone.

So my situation is more like it’s all or nothing. i can choose math-science section again but it means more things to study and with that time i can’t complete it.

This life is not for me. The exam is restricting me a lot and I’m very tired of it. i feel underachieved

Sprint workout seems like good for boosting testesterone and growth hormone, I might add to my program. I’m doing:

  1. Chest, back
  2. Legs.
  3. Arm, delts
  4. Legs.
So in one cycle there are 2 legs day. I may replace one of them with sprint workout. And also I think 2 legs day is boring, and they are intense. It’s more intense than upper body day and I don’t like it.
Afaik legs are important for general growt and again afaik interval sprints very good for testesterone and growth so if I change it probably I won’t miss anything at all.

And also when you look at the function of the legs, they are essentially for jumping and running.
And I think one sprint and one leg lifting is better than 2 legs day. It’s stupid that you have massive legs but you can’t run sprint efficiently, also sprinting will increase health of the heart, it’s important for longevity too.

Back from the leg day
My legs are fucking growing more that the upper body. It started to look shredded. Mike mentzer method truly works for legs. The next day is arm and delts… And there are lots of things to I wanted to write few days ago but Im not writing it.
