Cycle 11 starts today. This time I’m going down from 10-11 min to 5. Then work myself back up again. Although rewarding the recon, it gets too intense at the end of the cycle and I have stuff to do.

I got a great performance review and feedback from colleagues which lead to a salary bump and positive words from my PM. Although this is great in comparison to the catalyst that started this journey I was hoping for more. It’s just higher standards I guess.

Next year if I don’t get 3x this bump I’ll switch jobs anyway. In this industry that’s the fastest way to pay bumps and cool new and educative experiences.

That idea is interesting. It’s just a random idea that popped in my head. Anyway, can’t wait to get back to Khan. 4 cycles left or so and then I’ve been on this stack for year. I think I’ll be ready for a new long journey. This time with Khan.

Lately I’ve been cutting down. Cutting the bs and letting my zero point shine. not addition, subtraction and it feels great.

One clever man here explained that idea a while back but sometimes the student is not ready.

Also, I’m 60% close to my weight goal.
I hit a plateau a while back but now the pointer on the scale is moving again.

I have but do you mean each stage for a year, or rotating stages monthly, but running Khan for 4 years total?

1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → repeat. Rotating stages monthly. The reason is I really like the increase of listening time by one minute each cycle. Although I’ve gone back to 5 minutes, because the recon brought too much for me, it still was pretty good to progress that way for 9-10 cycles.

Khan ST1 + Genesis Mogul

Was listening to RICH + EOG + ASBR but got heavy recon, went on monk mode and long washout (about 20 days - at the time I was so deep in recon I thought I’m quitting subs forever and that they don’t work lol).

Decided to start all over, focusing on wealth foundation with Mogul (currently learning new skill for freelance + building up business) and putting some systems in place to generate endless enthusiasm, have lots of fun and success with the help of Khan.

I’m on day 13 of this combo and so far everything is going very well. I just have very little desire to journal publicly and even my private journal is very concise - I only note changes and that’s it lol

Switching to a 3x sessions per week, like mon/wed/fri. Usual 21 days.

It was a good decision that I switched to 5 minutes from 10. But still feel not fully recovered for full blasting.

I’m going to try Emp/IG on’ Mondays/Fridays, limitless Wednesdays. If this doesn’t help my ”recovery” I’ll probably put one sub in each day, Mon/Wed/Fri.

I just think I pushed myself too much. Cycle 9-10 were intense.

Today is listening day, but I’m still in processing so I’m going to let my mind rest some more and focus on journaling, eating good and hydrating. No listening today.

Things I’ve come to think of my ”base”:

• Sleep and adequate rest (I’m too erratic and irresponsible with my energy and mental bandwidth)
• Exercise (need to be more consistent)
• Meditation

I sleep, but I’m not consistent and my sleep hygiene is not the best.

I’m still on washout.

Escapism, you’re just postponing the process. You’re going to have to get very elaborate forms of escapism and you’re going to have to keep running to your grave. The process has started and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

Live in resistance or flow with it.

Still in emptiness. I’m thinking it’s part of the process, something better will take its place. Something real.

I as a new dev in the team want to have 3 high quality pull requests approved this sprint, so I get a momentum going, build confidence and pull my weight in the project. I also want a team member vocally say “wow, you’re legit”

Going through my journal to review and this actually happened lol.

Today I started listening again. Started with 30s of Emperor and IG: UPX. Next week is regular washout. Sheesh…

An old friend said I look like I’ve hit the gym quite well. Haven’t seen him in a while and that felt good to hear. Been focusing on taking care of the basics like sleep, meditation and exercise. I gotta have that base covered.

can you share your eating and training regiments? iirc, you are doing intermittent fasting? How long are your eating windows? How often do you train? What do you eat generally?

Not strict. StrongLifts 5x5, 3 days a week. Not clean eating, just trying to eat smaller regular portions.

I don’t do fasting now, but usually it was 8 hours eating and 16 hours fasting.

End of cycle 11. Last week I’ve been playing 30 sec of the subs to help me catch my breath. It’s good.

I’m going to be use the sweet spot method. Reviewing my journal it’s clear the most sustainable listening schedule is around 5-6 minutes. I overdid it listening to 10. Rest is good. Washout will be good.

Cycle 12 started today. Had a lot to process and air out. These new awesome subs almost made me succumb

Around 3 months left on this stack. It keeps on giving. forever probably.

What if the true optimal strategy for my current subliminal journey isn’t future planning, but in integrating what I’m doing right now? This I reflected upon when I was obsessing about subs and what subs to run in 3 months. The perfectionist in me. The controlling part in me. The min-max gamer. The fearful protective side of me that wants full control.

I’m being too hard on myself. The path forward is not this.

I’ll allow the answers to reveal themselves through experience instead of trying to figure them out with sheer levels effort alone.
