Dragon Emperor 2, Year of the Phoenix

  • OK. Here’s my first attempt at DE2.1. AKA Wolfie’s latest attempt to fry his brain.
The goal is to redouble my efforts to get my shit together for the rest of the year.
  1. Emperor core
  2. Primal core
  3. S. Golden one
  4. S. Harmonic Conflux
  5. S. Heaven Shaking Power
  6. Inescapable Gaze
  7. Iron Law
  8. Machine totality
  9. Master of the world
  10. One above all
  11. Preordained vitality
  12. Subconscious mastery
  13. Tale of the dragon
  14. Voice is law
  15. Winner overdrive
  16. Organization perfected
  17. Fortune’s Favorite
  18. Divine dominion
  19. Mosaic.

That should do er. It might be good to stay on this one longer than this year too.

  • I actually had a dream about trying to get the budget to work out. FP2 must really be sinking in for me to be dreaming about something so mundane.
When I remember dreaming it’s usually a lot more surreal than that.
I am getting a little more overtime here and there, so there is some extra coming in, but I am still going to need a significant regular increase in income or a large influx of money in order to really get out of survival mode.

  • I’ve remembered several small snippets of dreams in the past week or so. All of them were about financial matters that I feel very anxious about.
It’s not normal for me to remember dreams at all. Not very often anyway.

  • I like the sound of the new limitless. I definitely think that DE2.1 is going to me Limitless Emperor.
I do have to figure out how I’m going to get more money coming in, and I’m having trouble with that aspect of my goals. Could be just what the doctor ordered.

  • This has been the week for bad financial news.
First. My son used to be on Medicaid because my wife is on disability. But now they’ve changed the rules and I have to purchase insurance for him.
That’s going to cost us a fair chunk of change monthly. Last thing we need.
Second. My mortgage payment is going up eighty dollars starting in June.
It’s frustrating. I just bore down and start getting control of this, and the universe drops a couple of bombs on me to make it harder.
I’ll get through it, but irritating nonetheless.
I’ve had a few times like this before on this and another company’s subs. I’ll start to make progress, then a bunch of problems come out of the blue and it gets tougher.
The good news is that often if I push through all of the issues then something will happen to make it a lot easier. This is kind of like the final phase before I “get there”.

  • I like that Saint described the new Limitless as having a “hyper intelligent alpha” vibe.
That’s something I’ve pulled off well in the past and it suits me. It could actually help forward all of my goals, not just help me increase my income.
Here is the first design for DE2.1 Limitless version.

  1. Emperor Core
  2. Limitless Core
  3. S. At the top
  4. S. Breath of storms
  5. S. Carpe Vitam
  6. S. Divine Dominion
  7. S. Harmonic conflux
  8. S. Heaven shaking power
  9. S. Iron Law
  10. S. Machine totality
  11. S. Master of the world
  12. S. Golden one
  13. S. Subconscious Mastry
  14. S. Tale of the dragon
  15. S. Winner Overdrive
  16. Fortune’s Favorite
  17. Immortals blade
  18. Debt annihilator
  19. Dues
  20. Mosiac

The only problem here is that I have to buy a lot of modules.

  • I’ve been thinking about Limitless a lot. That got me thinking about something I’ve been noticing. I think that my effective IQ had actually dropped because of my job.
Yes, I’m highly trained and experienced in my field and had to be to get this job.
But what I really do is sit in a booth playing around with my phone to stay halfway alert. I’ve been doing it for years.
I’m not interacting with anyone or doing much to keep my mind engaged in an intellectual pursuit.
I have noticed that I don’t have the attention span or ability to focus that I used to. I suspect that my ability to read or listen, comprehend, and remember has gone downhill too.
This is why I’m putting Limitless in there starting in June. If I’m going to get out of this rut, I have to get my brain back to firing on all cylinders.

  • despite how awesome my planned custom sounds, I shouldn’t be spending two hundred bucks on modules at this point. I think I’m going to limit myself to four or five synergy modules and fill the rest in with stuff I already have.

         **WASHOUT WEEK #5**
  • Rough week last week. I’m working hard to improve the money management, but unforeseen things just keep jumping up to spin me out. I’m frustrated, but I’m working the problems. I see some gradual improvement from my efforts. Just have to keep at it.

  • I’m feeling better today. I got rid of one of the expenses that was going to cause me a problem, and now I think we’ll be fine until next payday.
I also called a creditor who I’ve been paying late and got a way to get back on track with that, and I’ll call about a bigger one tomorrow.
I wasn’t a full month late with these, but late enough to add fees to the debt so this is a very good thing.
We’ve also really gotten a fire lit under us about getting the house cleaned up due to an incident earlier in the week.
And in other news, I made a very creative temporary home repair on something that we can’t possibly afford to have fixed any time soon. I’m pretty proud of that actually.

  • I realized today that even though it doesn’t always seem like it from inside, this is working. I am getting greater and greater control over my life as time goes by.

  • I just checked into it, and it turns out that we’re doing considerably better at this point in the month than I was expecting according to the budget planning app.
While I did get pretty stressed a few days ago, as I said, this is working.

  • I still have a month on DE2 before I switch it out for DE2.1. That is Emperor and Limitless.
I’ve been thinking about what Synergy modules I want to put in there given that my budget is limited.
I’ve ordered them as must have and nice to have. There are five must haves, and I’ll get as many of the rest as my budget allows.

Must have:

  • Breath of Storms
  • At the Top
  • Master of the World
  • Winner Overdrive
  • Divine Doninion

Nice to Have:

  • One Above All
  • Subconscious Mastery
  • The Golden one
  • Tale of the Dragon
  • Machine Totality
  • Iron Law
  • Winner Overdrive

I’d never read up on these on the Q site until now. Basically just starting by reading the ones you’ve listed above. and Holy shit. The “Must haves” are awesome sounding. I’m about to dig in on the nice to haves.

Yeah, I’ve got a lot of down time, I’ve read them all.
Check out the monster I created a bit above this. Unfortunately I really shouldn’t be spending two hundred bucks on modules at the moment.
It seems that the financial responsibility part of FP2 has really kicked in.

Then add The Golden One to your must have.
I’d guess it will pay for itself.

I’m eagerly awaiting my first custom with many modules you’ve chosen as well.

I’m thinking about it, but it might be kind of superfluous with FP2 going at the same time.

If you’re running it side by side, it’s probably just a nice to have since you’ve covered almost every constituent module there.
It may contribute something though. It has additional scripting to bind everything together so it works as a smooth unit.

Ironically, I will if I can afford it.

@COWolfe, you are eligible for the Arch Alchemist rank and discount. PM support and it’ll give you 25% off all purchases.

That’s nice. 5% off of the building cost and the modules equals an additional new module for the same price.
5 new modules 75$, building cost 100$, Solace (?) 30$. Makes 17$/20$ saved.

As silly as it sounds, I license modules before building. Like one module per paycheck at times. So that’s easier to eat than paying all at once

Then when build time comes, it ends up being just under $100 ($75 for build and $23 or something for Solace)

That doesn’t sound silly at all. But Synergy just came out and flung a big ol monkey wrench into my previous plans.
