Do you even lift bro?

Well, yes and no, it’s not a big deal, but depending on the strength of the physical shifting, the workout volume will need adjustment.

Right now I have a weekly volume in sets of :
Shoulders : 19
Chest : 15
Biceps : 31
Abs : 16
Back : 19
Legs : 13
Triceps : 27

Divided in 5 workout during the week, with an average of 20 minutes of jump rope at the end of a workout HIT style.

Lower this.

General rule of thumb: work your triceps 2x your biceps.

31 sets for biceps is going to hinder its growth, like stonewalling on subs.

Hmm. I don’t think in muscles & body parts, so no comments there. :man_shrugging:t2:

Yeah, biceps gets hit so much, every time you workout your back almost haha, I could do more legs.

I think you should increase the volume for legs, yes.

In fact, working out your legs has been proven to increase your free test levels, so if anything, you should consider maybe squatting twice a week (10x10 squats is a good legs day on its own )

Hahaha, yeah, well right now I do deadlift and Squat, but I’m more focused on increasing my deadlift and squat as a support exercice… But I thing adding a few sets of squats could help my leg heal faster and my knee get better!

@Simon @Invictus how do you guys measure workout volume?

Total number of sets done, but the reps also matters.

Doing 10 sets of 3 reps vs 12 reps are not the same

I’m thinking about doing Wanted, Spartan, Diamond for 45 days then switch one of them out for Chosen

These two together would probably give you similar physical shifting as we got in the test, or maybe 80% of that

That’s good to know

Yeah, I’m following jeff nippard’s advice regarding the volume  Trying to hit 2 reps in tank left out of my max!

His approach is too scientific in my opinion, which is great for many, but I prefer the old school approach.

But then again, my current approach is very intuitive, as in I choose a body part to train, then just let my body guide me.

Though there’s a certain program I’m looking to run starting next week, called DUP by David Laid, it’s a nice approach towards building strength in a powerlifting fashion, while hitting enough accessory movements for optimal hypertrophy.

I think the standard formula for Training Volume is
Sets x Reps x Weight = Total Weight Moved (typically 1000s of lbs)

Personally, I model my logs around Charles Staley’s Escalating Density Training.
My goal is only to beat my Total Reps compared to the last workout. No big math involved.

Hahaha, yeah, personally I only do the math thing for my sets, and then when I hit a plateau on an exercice, I drop 10% of my weight I’m lifting and start the grind again from there! And if it’s a bigger plateau, then I change my exercice selection.

When I stopped doing steroids, eventually I started stalling in terms of muscle growth. After I watched some of Jeff’s video, I understood that I was working out too hard (in terms of lifting), and pushing to failure almost all my sets… I was used to workout on steroids so, when you take PED, you can give your 100% in the gym everyday and you will make gains. When you are not on PED, you need to give your 75-90% in the gym, else your body will not produce muscle (this was counterintuitive for me because I always had in my mind No pain No gain, You gotta push yourself in the gym!

Also, Daily Undulating Periodization is pretty advanced, one guy I was working out who was benching something like 365 was using this to grow more!

@Simon On yeah, my app is good for that  I have weekly volume shown by muscle group, ex. 8480lbs last week for my shoulders and 13 210 lbs for my chest and 16 150 lbs for my back.
Never heard of the Escalating Density Training, it does seems intense by the name, is it in the same style of workout as German Volume Training?

This and the GVT are currently on my list.

Thing is, I really want to get back to doing a program instead of intuitively training as I feel like I have a lot of untapped strength in me that I’m not even using (this is also a mindset change from WANTED, since I consciously guide it towards aesthetic bodybuilding).

But, this decision is also in line with my decision to switch to Spartan ZP when it comes out, as from what I mentioned on one of the threads, even though I’ve been loving WANTED’s attraction, the ZP test made me realize that it’s recognition which I actually want, not attraction from girls (had enough of it ), and Chosen gives me that recognition from everyone, so there’s no real reason to continue with Wanted when a more fitness oriented sub is going to be released
After that it’s going to be replaced by HERO.

So till Spartan ZP is out, I shall research more about which training program I’ll be committing to from either December 4th, or January, since I still want some of Wanted’s sexiness for my bday

Ohh yeah!

Are you back on your Wanted prototype for the physical shifting?

Our goals are differents haha, I want to be desired by woman, I crave that attention… A lot less since I started subclub, but still a little bit. Wanted will help me get it and stop wanting it.

I also saw just now was Saint said that the physical shifting technology is not complete yet so the version of Wanted released during the preview is not final.

I lift myself out of bed everyday. Does that count?

Google it. You might find EDT articles on T-Nation by Staley himself.

For now, yes.
Since I have my interview on Sunday and then my graduation ceremony on Wednesday, and I’m pretty sure the preview subs will only be out after it’s 11pm in my country, so I want to make full use of it for now before I decide on Wednesday (or technically Thursday) if I want to continue with Wanted till the end of December or not.

For now I’m using it to maximize my looks and for the physical shifting for my body, but also as it has this effect where it guides you to choose the best style for you, and since I’ll be heading out to get a new suit (either tomorrow or Friday), it should also help with that.

But hey, you seem excited now after Saint’s message huh :smirk:? I did tell you that it was just a preview for now didn’t I ?
