I’ve studied a lot of the healing arts and have charged money with great success.
I teach yoga virtually now and take healing/coaching clients both virtually or in my home.

I almost married someone who was somewhat a nice guy followed by this guy who presents with narc traits and calls himself an “alpha male.”

At the end of the day, I take this as an important lesson on my path. More insights into the parts of me that I wasn’t paying attention to or allowing to heal.
I’m grateful for it.

Neither the nice guy nor the narcissist will be good for women. Both aren’t complete in their masculinity.
Now I will also admit that I don’t know the full story so I can’t make a real judgement on the matter.
Do you have a brother or male relative? Someone who is masculine? They will be a good judge of male character and will help you out in the selection process.

I have a big brother, 3 years older. He’s married to a highly successful local wedding photographer. He’s done well for himself in computer engineering for tool & die stuff.
My oldest 2 children have different dads whom have really great masculine qualities & they’re like family to me.
@Trader is one of my best friends & I feel he is a good male example… maybe

Your boys are great but it is preferable to talk to older male relatives for their experience.
Palpatine is awesome. But again talking to elder male relatives is way better cause their thinking isn’t tinged by any sexual attraction.
Talk with them (including your brother) in the presence of their wives. They are great examples of success stories and wisdom which will inspire you too.

My late grandfather was an excellent example. My grandparents were married for like 6 decades before my grandma died.
My brother definitely will be contacted. I’m overdue for a visit to their home!

Ask his help to vet the men you date. Believe me, when I say that masculine grandfathers, fathers, brothers, cousins, can detect the quality of other men.
In this case your brother will share his views and you can weigh the matter and always make the final decisions.
Just tell him beforehand that you need his help to do so. He will be honored to help his sister since it shows that you trust his judgement and his innate desire to protect his loved ones.
I should know since I have sisters of my own.

I just won’t go there with him right now though. He starts judging me like he does with my mother.

Ok, having spent some time on the subject, my take on it is this.
Can narc heal? On base level we are talking about arrested development of “healthy self” that is caused by some trauma etc. So its not that simple as just healing, its about years and years of missing development. So to bring you example…like going to school. When you talk to a average person who has gone to school for 12 or something years, there are so many things that are just taken for granted that have been just built up on layers of information and learning, starting from ground up. But lets say that you find a person who hasnt gone to a school for a single day and you try to introduce a chemistry or physics or philosophy whatever to him…You see where Im aiming with this analogy? Its not impossible, but you have to understand the level of missing information you are dealing with.

Calling yourself an alpha male doesn’t have anything to do with narcissism. It’s something weak men do to hide their lack of masculinity. Can someone be both weak and a narcissist? Very possibly yes.

They were raised by a narc father and empathic mom. Addiction and mental health difficulties.
He learned to be like his dad and fought hard not to be.
Recently I posted here about alpha male after he told me people were calling him that.
Curiosity
Saying you’re an Alpha Male is just the adult equivalent of boys wanting to be Superman or Batman. Some guys just never grow out of it. 🤷

It isn’t that you might be or not. Even I don’t have any attraction towards @TheEmpress. But the possibility is always there.
Which is why I recommend women taking advice from their male relatives.
