“The trick is to fall in love with life and consciousness. You don’t want them to fall in love with you, you want them to fall in love with life - with you.”

“What if the “unknown” isn’t new at all, but a place you’ve walked through a billion times and simply forgotten? What if you’re not stepping foot into something foreign or frightening, but returning to a long lost home, whose welcoming arms have been open to you all along… a home more familiar, more comforting, and more yours than you have ever remembered?”

Reminds me of the alchemist.

I haven’t read the book so I had to google it, lol. I can see why you make that connection.

The quote is about an advanced concept. If you make 20k/year uncomfortably, and want to make 60k/year comfortably - going from point A to point B involves stepping out of your comfort zone into the “unknown”. New knowledge, new people, new places, new actions, new motivations, and new ways of perceiving. From a human point of view, there is fear of change because it asks us to leave the safety of what we already understand. From a consciousness point of view, where consciousness is everything, and no experience is unfamiliar… it’s the equivalent of just hopping from one home to another home. If someone can not only understand that point of view, but integrate it (this is an advanced thing to do), then the meaning of “change” itself becomes redefined and experienced differently. The ultimate point is that there’s never only one way of looking at something.

Every philosophical dialogue in Assassin’s Creed franchise, lol.

Nevermind, I can’t say everything in the franchise since I only played one. The first one from 2007 mainly, the dialogue is elite and gave me many moral code/philosophical type of quotes. Had me thinking like I’m some warrior-monk when I’m a regular bloke, rofl.

Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.

Inspiration is a curse.
Because the higher the inspiration, the easier it is to prematurely encounter ‘realities,’ which can trigger you to give up or pursue to greatness.

Forgot where I got this from. Been on my mind for last few months.
