Art Thread for Artists

This is a hat I made especially for Ren’fairs Last summer. I had severe sunburn but wanted to go to my favorite fair, so I mixed two patterns to get a huge brim for my favorite base (a pork pie hat base, known eg from braking bad).

The huge brim is good against sun and rain.
Against the rain, I coated it with bees wax.
The leather skin I bought had on slit where the cow had a little injury, so I turned the flaw into a feature and now it’s right on the front.

Another nice feature is the wire in the brim, so I can freely form it. Be it flat, a tricorn (Captn Jack Sparrow), a cowboy hat or even an octagon.

And I lined it with some black velvet I had still lying around from another project.

I bought an iPad pro and Procreate back in December but I haven’t really been able to get into it.

I didn’t mean you with “go digital”, I talked to myself. I like your artworks as they are.

Beautiful work, especially the cat-fox-bird.
Also the cat is very nice.

Btw, did you slip in a selfi by accident?

Got this tiny key for work.
Threw it away once.
By accident.
Made a key fob.
Never again

Everytime I see your drawings like the last two, they make me immediately think of some gay furry porn games (one of the few categories I never played) :joy::rofl:

This is not meant to offend you, but did you ever come across something like this?

Got the image online, added it, picked the colours using a colour picker, added the font and text. Pretty much. I don’t think that’s making it, is it? Heck, I didn’t even create the font or the colour. I just had these different tools and resources and put it together, pretty much.

I love it bro
